Every morning in the park is an adventure and none more so that seeing what the sky will look like when I come around the first bend to the open prairie part of the park. Since “Nature” is our theme today, I’d like to share three very different morning views. Feel free to tell me which you prefer.

all three are lovely…hard to choose.. 🙂
From my point of view, that’s a good thing. 🙂

the first pics sky woke me up with its blue, but it was the second that made me go, “Aw.”
Have a good one. Randy
You, too, Randy. Top o’ three mornin’s to ya!

That second capture caught me returning to it. It has ethereal and mysterious qualities that one can build many narratives, but also enjoy the image for itself. Happy Photo Challenge.
Good morning, Sally, and thanks. Enjoy your week.

Whew!! Love the middle one. It has a mysterious quality. And the light is amazing.
Getting out just about sunrise, gives me many opportunities to catch amazing light. Many of the mornings bring such joy to my heart that I can hardly bear it. 🙂

The misty sepia #2 catches my eye it looks like a painting. good series.
~C
Glad you enjoyed the series, Carol. The color in #2 is natural, not an edit. The fog was lovely that morning.
janet
Beautiful.
Thanks, Carol. So much beauty in nature.
janet
The second one is especially beautiful, Janet! 🙂
Thanks, Amy. That one appears to be the clear favorite.
I love the second one!!
I’m glad.

The middle photo catches my eye, it reminds me of some nights here in Northern California out in the valleys with what is called “tule fog”; it hovers close to the ground like in your photo. I have really gotten to like morning views and sunrises just lately for the first time in my life.
I’m a morning person, so I tend to see more sunrises, although the best time for the fog is when the seasons are changing and the ground is warm while the air is cool. As the days grow shorter, it becomes easier to catch the sunrise and morning light and still get enough sleep. 🙂

I love the cotton ball clouds in your first photo and I adore the softness of your second photo! Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure! Thanks for sharing part of your day with me.

Great photos. love the clouds
Thanks, Raewyn. They were especially beautiful on those two mornings.

Very pretty Janet! I really like the second one. By the way, do you use Instagram? If so let me know and I will follow you. Trying to spend a little more time there. 🙂
Nicole, I not only am not on Instagram, I really don’t know much about it. 😦 Only so much time and with blogging every day and working part time (and the rest of life), I’m not sure about taking on anything new. Do you like it and if so, why?
janet
I do like it as I love photography and apparently Instagram is really growing for bloggers and photographers. It is another time consuming hobby but I love being inspired by beautiful photos.
I may have to look into it, Nicole.
janet
Sure! Let me know if you do. 😊
Will do.
Great captures! I like them all, but #2 is my favorite.
Angela, your choice is apparently the choice of the masses. 🙂 Thanks for weighing in.

HI Janet, I love the BIG Sky photos. I think the last one with the larger tree silhouette stands out for me this week. Mind you, I also like the tone and atmosphere of the second one.
Seeing the big sky like that really is uplifting for me, Amanda. The fog had the same effect on me, but is very different. Hard to compare them, so I just enjoy. 🙂
It is nice to hear that you also find the fog uplifting, Janet. We so rarely get fogs here, so for me, they are so special. I make a point of going for a walk in them. It feels wonderful and in some level , comforting!!!
I agree. To make it perfect, I’d have a lovely cup of hot tea while sitting in the park in the fog, but… 🙂

I like the last photo for its cloud formations, the way the blue sky is trying to peek through the clouds, and the wide open space.
In the first and last photos, I wanted to convey the hugeness of the sky,so I’m really glad that came through.

So lovely! But if forced to choose, I’ve got to go with the near-sepia colored image, in the middle of your three, for its uniqueness.
Jann, there have been a number of mornings lately with those colors and I’ve enjoyed them immensely.
janet
Janet, the three images are gorgeous. I love dramatic clouds like these immensely. But as you want a choice, I go for the second. It is blissful, magic.
Lucile, it’s sights like these that keep me coming back every morning I have the chance.
janet
I totally side with you. And we’re luck to see it through your images. Thank you.
Have a lovely weekend, Janet.
