All these oddball photos were taken with my iPad in the days when our phones still looked as though they could beam us up to the Enterprise. Carrying an iPad was harder than slipping a phone into my purse, but it did take great photos.
Here’s an oddball thing about me: I love Friday the 13th. 13 was my softball number for years by choice. So I enjoyed this month!
A restaurant in Cleveland’s Little Italy was using this as an eye-catching display. It worked.
Outdoor decorations at our cabin in Wyoming’s mountains are a bit different than you might find in the city.
Before I took this shot, these were completely covered with ivy. I laboriously cut all the vines at the bottom of the tree, then after they died, pulled them off away from the tree as high as I could reach with a ladder. It was quite a job. In the meantime, I think I spotted Jack climbing up. But if he came back down before I pulled away the vines, I never spotted him. Maybe the giants kept him.
Wow…they are all really…odd. Love the tomatoes!
I thought the tomatoes were really eye-catching, too, and so different.

🙂 Not sure about the skull but I do like that you like the 13th. Love that tomato “Tree”. 🙂
The good news is the skull was from an animal that died naturally. It really looks quite normal outside a log cabin in the mountains out west. 🙂

Your odd balls, Janet, are so wonderful this week. I really like your first photo of the tomatoes.
I thought the idea of using the tomatoes as a decoration was quite good and I’d love to have that stand for other things as well.

I do love that stand of tomatoes – I would love to have one
Me, too. It would make a great display holder for other things, too.

True examples of oddball photography…Great response to the challenge.
Hope you’re having a great Sunday, Charlie, with only fun oddballs. 🙂

I brought a skull home from Mexico. They are rare up north because it melted or rotted up here. Nice collection 🙂
Thanks, Carol. This one was found in the area.

I’m a Friday the 13th girl too, although what happened in France on this one sends shivers up my spine. Still, my husband and I were married on a Saturday, September 13, so it is a special date!
We were married on Sept. 15. 🙂
