  1. Tish Farrell says:

Gorgeous light it is too, Janet.

  2. Allan G. Smorra says:

I absolutely love the light in this image and the yellow frame makes this photo ‘pop’. It won’t be long before the Freesia and Quince start to bloom.

    • It will be awhile here, Allan, but I’m looking forward to it with great anticipation. The day I took this photo, there was snow (not too much, but just enough) and light that gladden my soul. I think I walked with a huge smile on my face the entire time. I know I yelled a time or two with joy. 🙂

      • Allan G. Smorra says:

The one thing that I miss about snow is the way it scatters the light and ricochets thru shadows.

  3. Nothing makes sharper contrast than white snow and bright sun. It must have been a gorgeous day

  4. bythebriny says:

    Blue and gold, so beautiful.

  5. Such a beautiful photo – love the way you have captured the light through the trees

  6. basildonkitchens says:

This is so beautiful – I love the two seasons in the same photo, and the sunlight through the trees … it just makes me smile 🙂

  7. jan says:

Lovely composition – like an impressionist painting.

  8. thirdeyemom says:

Oh….looks like Minnesota but no sun! Pretty Janet! 🙂

  9. Wonderful photograph depicting a wintry snowy scene. It would make perfect novel cover.
