“Life Imitates Art” is the Weekly Photo Challenge theme at WordPress. I can tell we’ve used up the obvious a/o easy themes! But with a little help from my editing friends, I’ve become Impressionist for a Day, offering this tribute to Monet and his beautiful lilies.

This is fantastic Janet! Yes I think this theme is a harder one! Still not sure which way I’m going to go with it. I like the Inpressionist take! I’m going to look into my options!
I think the people doing the prompts are trying to think of new and unusual prompts. There was one when I was on vacation that I was perfectly happy to miss! Glad you liked my response to this one.

It was a great challenge this week, nicely done.
Thanks! There are some weeks when I scroll through my photos for ages, trying to figure out what to use. This week, I had several possibilities, but decided to go with this one, which I’ve loved since I took the shot. Ginned it up a bit with a couple of edits to look more “painterly.” I’m happy it worked.
