I had a hard time getting the shot as the wind kept blowing. 🙂
Wonderful light and texture.
Thanks, Marie. I moved all around trying to catch the right light.
The dead plants of winter often have a delicate beauty, one I like very much.
Wonderful colors, Janet. That band of out-of-focus blue sky compliments the golden tones of the flower.
Have to admit the way the background turned out was partly luck, Allan. 🙂 But I can work with that.
It clicked into your sub-conscience at some point and you made the adjustment without bothersome thought. Nicely done.
I love this image, Janet! The colors, composition, lighting… are all so perfect. Well done!
Many thanks, Amy. Hope you’re having a wonderful Wednesday.
So beautiful Janet
Just a beautiful bit of fall still hanging on into winter. 🙂
I love the way the light shines through the flowers…almost like an Xray.
The “flower” caught my eye initially, but the light was next. It is like an X-ray, allowing us to see the “bones” of the blossom.
Don’t know. Sorry. 🙂 But I’m glad you like the shot.
I love all the detail one can see!
The light really helped with that.
Gorgeous detail…I think I was trying to take shots of a similar plant yesterday with little success because I couldn’t get in the right position for the image I wanted! May show it soon
Not being able to get the shot you want can be frustrating, Sue. I’m taking a short road trip this weekend and I know while driving for six hours I’ll see plenty shots I want to get but can’t. Not really safe to stop along the interstate and by the time I see some of them, I’d also have to back up, a big no-no. 😦
