This week, Ben’s challenge to us is to:
…let your inner world and the outside one converge in a photo.
People who know me know that I’m generally a glass-more-than-half-full person and although I can get upset, angry, down, or feel that someone has dumped my glass, I am for the most part a happy, positive person who enjoys life. That’s why I think this photo is perfect: full of color, beauty, an example of getting all the sweetness possible from life (to use and share), and, as those I work with know, of moving quickly!
Fantastic 😀
Lena, I got two wonderful photos of hummingbirds that day and I was more than happy.

Ah see your spirit…
🙂 Just so I’m not bird-brained, Carol.

It is amazing to imagine the wings opening and with moving with so much purpose. http://www.wyswoods.wordpress.com
And wings that move so quickly over and over. Just imagine the calories these little beauties must use in a day!

Perfect dear Janet. Beautiful shot.
Thanks, Indira, and have a wonderful weekend.
Wonderful weekend to you too dear.
Thanks, Indira.
Wow – great capture
Thanks very much, Sonya.

Janet, this has to be one of the best pictures I have ever seen! Your spirit shows. I just love those little birds and can’t wait til they are back! I cannot imagine how you were able to get such a perfect shot!!
Your compliment made my morning, Tildy! I was at the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden with my s-i-l and spotted some hummingbirds. I took a number of photos and discarded many, but I did get several that turned out well, much better than I’d hoped! It’s difficult to click at just the right moment.
janet
Yay! I have looked at the picture several more times today. It really is terrific!
Now that is a compliment, Tildy, that you’ve come back more than once. Thanks for letting me know! You put a smile on my face.

This is beautiful.
Thanks very much, Trev. It’s one of those photos that is a marvelous surprise when you see how it actually turned out. 🙂

Great photo and great outlook on life, thanks for spreading the joy.
One of my joys of life is to spread the joy whenever possible. 🙂

Thank you for this beautiful post, Janet!
My pleasure, Amy. Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment. Always appreciated.

Janet , a lovely post and what a superb picture. Those wee fellows are fascinating to watch but oh so hard to snap a good shot! love it!
Thanks, Leanne! They are very difficult to shoot as they in almost constant motion. Catching them eating or, as I did recently while visiting my parents, sitting in a tree, is the only way that they stop long enough to photograph.
janet
Marvellous! And your zest for life and positivity shine out of this….
Glad you enjoyed it, Sue, and now you know me a bit better. 🙂
janet
OMG. That is perfect. Stunning.
Randy
Randy, a comment like this from you means a lot. Thanks!
janet
Oh joy, you’ve captured my favorite feathered friend in full splendor. Only two months until they return to my gardens.
That’s something to anticipate with joy, Sally.

Janet, this photo is absolutely amazing. The level of amazing that you should enter it into a photography contest because I think you’d win. I’d have that framed where I could admire it. 🙂
I think I might try to do both, Judy. Thanks for the encouragement and if you come across any contest, let me know.

Keeping that glass more than half full is key to happiness.
Very true, Lulu, and if we think about it, we always have a multitude of blessings.
janet
Beautiful capture.
Thanks!
janet
This photo is full of life, which, after reading your blog for a while, is perfect. Wonderful capture! These little birds continue to elude my lense 😊
Amazing shot.
Thanks, Laurie It amazed me as well, when I saw how it had turned out. 🙂
janet
You couldn’t better capture the joy! It is a beautiful photo, full of life and optimism.
If you feel that way, then I did my job answering this week’s challenge, Majka.
janet
You definitely did, Janet ☺
Love the photo!
Thanks very much. 🙂
janet
What a wonderful image to describe you. Beautiful photo.
Thank you, Patti.
janet
Super colors … and …. his wings flapping have motion to them. Another winner of a photo.
😎
These little beauties are quite something, aren’t they?
janet
They sure are … ~~~~ : – )
Don’t know how I missed this one–beautifully captured!
