Sitting in a sun-drenched kitchen
at a table clothed in Provençal linen
steam rising from my tea,
warmed and content,
gazing out upon drifts of powdered snow.
You painted a lovely picture with words.
Had to do something while waiting for the Photo Challenge. 🙂 Thanks. I like working with words as well as photos. Glad you enjoyed it.
I can see it, Janet. Thanks for the memory.
My pleasure, Allan. I experienced everything here except the drifts of snow, just last weekend and it’s a lovely memory for me, too. (Have to stay occupied while waiting for the WPC.) 🙂
I am gazing out at a rain washed world, thankfully
Lovely inspiring verseThank you
I’m happy you enjoyed it, Carol. Today it’s beautifully sunny here and I’m anticipating the 60-degree temps on Monday. I love and have enjoyed winter, but I’m ready for spring, whenever it arrives.
No sun here, but we did get snow flurries, and I have a hot cup of coffee. 🙂
That works. 🙂 I’m a tea drinker but I do enjoy a good mocha or cappuccino sometimes. The feeling’s the same, no matter the drink.
I can see it…content too.
World-wide contentment, Ann-Christine, is a good thing. 🙂 Have a weekend filled with contentment.
Thank you, you too, Janet. I am happy to be working at the Photographic festival here in my town tomorrow.
That sounds great. Have fun.
Lovely imagery here
Then I did what I wanted to do–convey the beauty of the moment.
beautiful!! Can I join you?
Please do. The table expands forever as does the tea.
Great! See you then!!
Many thanks, both for the comment and the visit. 🙂
Lovely! I sit with my tea looking out at the rain!
Sitting inside, nice and cozy, while it’s raining outside can give the same feeling. 🙂
Here’s a cyber clink of cups as I also wait for WP…
It is a beautiful place.
And the best part is, it can be anywhere.
