Sitting in a sun-drenched kitchen
at a table clothed in Provençal linen
   steam rising from my tea,
I sip,
   warmed and content,
gazing out upon drifts of powdered snow.

I can see it, Janet. Thanks for the memory.

    • My pleasure, Allan. I experienced everything here except the drifts of snow, just last weekend and it’s a lovely memory for me, too. (Have to stay occupied while waiting for the WPC.) 🙂

    Lovely inspiring verseThank you

    • I’m happy you enjoyed it, Carol. Today it’s beautifully sunny here and I’m anticipating the 60-degree temps on Monday. I love and have enjoyed winter, but I’m ready for spring, whenever it arrives.
