Recently I shared a photo of a hummingbird for a Weekly Photo Challenge theme and you gave me lots of positive comments, including a number saying that it deserved to be hung on the wall. So when I recently saw a sale on an 8X10″ wrapped canvas print, I decided to go ahead and order it with this photo.
When I got back from my little weekend road trip this afternoon, I found a box on the porch with my canvas inside. I’m thrilled with how it looks and set it on the mantel until I can decide where to hang it. Makes me feel positively professional!

It would be nice to exhibit locally, but not sure where that would be. I’ll have to look into it. We only have tea products at the shop, so I’d have to look elsewhere. I really appreciate the encouragement, Randy. I’d love to be able to do this some day.

I don’t. I have a lot of mine and my daughter’s framed and hanging in my office and we have a bunch hanging at home, but that’s as far as I’ve gone.
I sold a photo once years and years ago after college and it was hanging in a lawyer’s office. But since then, I’ve not tried to sell anything nor have I put up any of my own work. I think that has to change. 🙂
At least putting up your work. I like the personal touch it adds to my office, and I like looking at my daughter’s work during the day.

If I didn’t know the story I would think that it is a photo of a Hummingbird in front of a photo of a flower. I like the playful nature of it, and the color/composition of the real thing.
