Thanks, Raewyn. Fun to come across this in the “wild” and not in someone’s garden.
Lovely. Is this a photo challenge?
Good morning, Victoria. As far as I know, it’s just something lots of bloggers do on Wednesday and not a specific challenge. I also know bloggers who do Silent Sunday.
I’m just finding my feet. Very new blog and there seems so much to learn!
Welcome to the blogging world. First bit of advice: just relax and enjoy whatever you’re blogging about. Challenges are a great way to meet other bloggers, get them to see your blog, and have a theme that you don’t have to think about. You’ll see that I participate in Cee’s Oddball Photo Challenge on Sundays, Sally’s Mobile Photo Challenge (for photos taken with non-traditional cameras) on Mondays, Norm’s Thursday Doors challenge on Thursdays, and the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge on Fridays. Wordless Wednesday is just fun. I used to participate in Friday Fictioneers, a 100-word story based on a photo challenge, but don’t have the time right now to keep up with all the stories. There are lots of other challenges as well, but I also try to have a real life besides my blog. 🙂
Let me know if I can help you in any way and have fun with your blog. I’ve been blogging daily for almost 4 1/2 years now and love it.
Marvelous. Both flower and snap.
Many thanks, Hammad. There were bunches of these growing in the park.
Thanks, Dan. Glad you liked them.
That is a truly lovely Iris, Janet. Beautiful shot.
Judy, it’s fun to see them in the park, growing wild! Hope your morning’s off to a great start. Rain here, so no walk. 😦
A graceful composition.
I imagine after all the rain, they’re probably done, so I’m glad I could catch them in their glory.
Thanks, Laura. I love coming across the beauty of nature during my walks.
Perfect picture with the yellow framing.
Thanks very much, Charles. I hope you’re having a great Wednesday.
A perfectly cheerful image to kick off a new month. Happy June!
And to you as well, Hannah, in this new phase of your life.
Interesting way the petals fall…
A bit different from the irises in the yards around us.
