We’ve run into (not literally, fortunately) some unusual roadblocks on our jaunts through the countryside of the Franche-Comté. We were not cowed, however. 😉 Just part of the experience.

Seen but not herd?
Not easily. 😉 The guy on the bike cracked me up. The herd in the road was being herded
😀😀
They were being herded by the ancient man in the truck and a hard-working dog as well.
Moo-ving along, then…..
Hay, you’re right. 😜
🙄😀😀
wow, they must have a very nice mayor… it’s no longer allowed here to walk with cows on the road, the farmer who has his meadows around our village has to transport them with a trailer (he is not amused about being the cow taxi, he can only transport two cows and to move the whole herd needs a lot of time)
That would be highly annoying! Cows take first place here.

They definitely live life in a slower pace!! Lovely!
It’s the country and even in the small towns life is slower.
janet
Looks like they moooved along quite quickly!
Hoofing it, MB.
janet
It’s probably wise to give them the right of way. Did they at least signal?
Alas, Dan, no consideration! They did not signal at all.
Hehe
😏

In France I would have thought that you herd it through the grapevine!
Happy, happy.
Randy
Oh, very good, Randy. I’m certainly not wine-ing about being here.
janet
😉
Janet, you are the Queen of Puns.
Merci, Dawn (and everyone else is screaming, “Mercy!”)
Hahaha,,,,,,,what a mootiful roadblock. 🙂
And that’s no bull.
janet
Smiles. I live in Reno, NV and was blocked once by the police trying to corral an escaped bull on a busy city street. Gotta love the wild West.
Yes, things are different out west. 😉
janet
I hope the traffic jam didn’t put you in a bad moooed.
No, we didn’t have a cow, Sharon. 😉
janet
Fun post … 😎
