Such a nice photo 🙂 love the forest !
This is the French forest, so I was really having a good time, although we had to be very careful of ticks. We found edible mushrooms, too. Made a great sauce for pasta. 🙂
Oh nice! Yes I hate ticks ! Every time I go out to the forest I comeback with one or two on my legs 😩😩 just to talk about them am scratching my legs 😂😂
My s-i-l’s dog almost died from a tick bite and there are so many diseases these days that when we walked, we had brimmed hats, long sleeve, long pants, high socks, and spray, no matter how hot we got. Not funny if you get bitten, that’s for sure.
Very nice picture, I love the details.
Thanks, Lena. 🙂
Love that photo, Janet – it has a larger-life-look to it.
Of course, I mean larger than life 😦
I knew what you meant, Dan. When you get right down there, the small things look so much larger. Part of the fun.
in a wordless day, I fungus myself speechless or something to that effect.
Oh, I doubt that, Randy! 🙂
Some of the most interesting mushrooms not only aren’t edible but are deadly. This one wasn’t edible, but it was photogenic.
Love those earthy tones.
Probably all that earth, Karen. 🙂 OK, just smack me.
Marvellous shot Janet. Is it edible?
Not this one, Madhu, but we did find chanterelles, a few trumpets, and one beautifully large porcini.
