Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Challenger’s Choice…still life

This still life consists of a still life and painting in our house in Cleveland.  I loved the way the colors of the Chinese lanterns echoes that of both the inner mat and one of the colors in her shawl.  Unfortunately, the contents of the vase did not make the move with us.  The painting, however, did.

It is a lovely painting, and the arrangement of the space worked really well. If feels restful.

    It is a beautiful painting!

  3. Enjoyed the still life within the still life. It’s a spot for contemplation as you go about your day. I’ve never used my iPad as a lens. It is very much a part of my digital darkroom, which makes it a portable post-processing tool. Do you use it more than you Smartphone as a camera? Happy Photo Challenge.

    • I used my iPad as my mobile camera for some years before I had an iPhone. Now I use the iPhone because of the ease of taking it places and do some post-processing on the iPad or on my laptop. But the iPad takes wonderful photos.

Beautiful still life! And great colour coordination between painting and bouquet.

  5. Love how the colours compliment each other. Beautiful Janet

Wonderful still life, Janet. The colors are lovely.
I’ve only experimented with using the iPad for taking photos a couple of times, but I really like how the photos look. I’ll have to remember to use it for post processing also.

    • I find it much easier than trying to edit on my phone, something I’d never do unless I had no alternative. Mostly I use my laptop, but I can’t get all the apps on it, as it’s not an Apple product.
