Cities have lots of edges. But sometimes the edges frame things not so angular, whether naturally or through distortion, offering an intriguing study in contrasts.

We don’t live in Chicago either, but in a western suburb, which is very different. Once in awhile, though, I take the train into the city and walk around, enjoying both what the city has to offer and that I don’t live in one. 🙂

No worries!
I love those angles, a great Edge photo!
Thanks, Georgie, and a very happy Saturday to you. Off to the farmers market shortly and hoping the clouds and sprinkles don’t turn into rain until I’m done! 🙂

I like the angle of the edges on the frame in your photograph. The images in the glass are interesting too, Janet. Have a great weekend.

I really love the reflections, too, Issy. You have a wonderful weekend, too. Ours started with rain, but I was at the farmers market while it was still drizzle. Have my produce lying out drying while read. 🙂
Nice one, Janet!
Reflections are one of the things I most love about cities, Sue. All the people and buildings squashed together (and traffic) are undoubtedly on the other side of the enjoyment equation, but without the buildings, no such cool reflections, so I go infrequently and just enjoy.
Sounds like a plan, Janet!

Nice shot. I’ve been to Chicago many times and have good memories. I sincerely hope they can get some things resolved so that they are not mired in such violence.
Judy, it’s terrible how many shootings there are in the city, or parts of it, every day and with one of the strictest gun control laws in the US! As far as cities go, it’s a good one, but yes, the violence has to stop!

Very nice! This is like a combination of our most recent challenges: frames, mirrors, and edges. 🙂
I thought of that after I chose the photo, Karen. 🙂 Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend.

Fascinating image, Janet.
Glad you think so, Sylvia. Reflections are one of my favorite city views. 🙂
Cool photo, Janet!
Thanks very much, Terri!
🙂 I really like this picture, dear Janet!
Have a very HAPPY Sunday 🙂
And to you as well.

Nice catch, Janet. It looks like there are distorted sci-fi creatures in the middle of the frame.

That’s what I thought, too, Allan, which is what made it especially fun.

Chicago is definitely an amazing city with so much architectural genius. I miss it!
I’m happy it’s so close (by train) and glad I don’t live in it. 🙂

Yes I lived there when I was younger but not I need my nature. 😌
