As the Weekly Photo Challenge prompt seems to be lost in the ether, I’ll go ahead and post my response to the Oddball Photo Challenge for this week. Here are two faces that appeared in my kitchen recently.
Scrubbing is hard work, but he still has a smile.
The definition of “bulbous?”
Self-portraits???
Oh, MB, my heart is pierced by that comment. 😦

The truth often stabs the heart!!!
Twice hurt.
Hehehehe!
And you laugh besides. How harsh!
Ha ha ha!! These are lovely Janet 😀
I don”t know if they’re lovely, but they’re fun.
Lovely in a funny way 😀
Starting up the weekend with some real nice faces, Janet!
Adorable, aren’t they? 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend, Hammad.
And he brings smile to others face also. Oddballs indeed.
Always happy to bring smiles, Indira. Have a wonderful weekend.

Those Big Daddy Sponges are so fun to photograph and oh so happy. Great odd balls Janet.
And they scrub well, too. All that while smiling. Oh that people would do as much.
Clever and whimsical, Janet.
This is your category. Love them 😍
Have a great weekend.
Izzy 😎 🎃👻

Looks like that first guy is exhibiting a touch of evil!
I hope not! He may just be tired from all that scrubbing.
janet
Yeah, that must be it!
I have to admit that it does look just a bit demented.
Well, you know Halloween is right around the corner.
I know. Doesn’t exactly excite me, but so it goes. 🙂
I think we’re going to turn off all the lights and pretend we’re not home. Only because if we have candy in the house we’d probably eat it all ourselves.
🙂 We never know how many trick-or-treaters will come by, so I have to get a good amount of candy. Once it’s over, I hide the candy, then give it to someone at church who takes it and donates it somewhere.
See, you’re too trusting. I’m not. I would tend to believe that the someone you mention keeps at least a little for themselves. 🙂
It wouldn’t matter. It’s out of the house!
A rebus is an allusional device that uses pictures to represent words or parts of words.
So this post is saying, Have a nice day Mr Potato Head? 🙂 🙂 🙂
If you say so, Lignum. 🙂 I’ll take your word for it.

I had a busy day today, am pretty tired, but perked right up after seeing these two photos. Thank you for the smile and the chuckle. That second photo is priceless. 🙂
I was working in the kitchen, looked at the ‘shrooms, and reached for my reading glasses and phone. I’m so glad I could perk you up. Sleep well tonight!

This reminds me of scenes I would find when living with my parents… If I left a big squash or melon out on the counter, for example, it’s very likely I would come back later to find it wearing a a knit cap, or “cooling its heels” in a pair of slippers. Funny how much personality these things can take on with a few good accessories!
I’m trying to imagine a melon with a knit cap. Smiling is a great thing! 🙂
janet
that’s fun!
I think it’s always good to have fun in the kitchen, don’t you?
janet
absolutely! 😀
