Janet …. great take on this weeks topic …. our miniature world that we often forget about .. or even step on at times. Beautiful images, my pick is the mushrooms.
Thanks. I love the mushrooms that I find everywhere but in France, I always find so many. Of course, that’s because my s-i-l lives in the forest, so there are many. My favorites are the edibles, but all of them make for good photos.
The same to you, Janet …. every thing looks good and tasty in France,. My favourite are the Chanterelle, but not so easy to get good images of, but great in pan.
We were fortunate enough to come across a rather large patch of them and they made a tasty pasta sauce. We found one large porcini, but unfortunately, they came in mostly after I left. We also found a few trumpets, which are delicious, but as they are black, VERY difficult to see in the forest with dark soil and so many leaves!
BTW – I did not yet read any reports on the impact your ‘political’ post and my ‘political’ response had on the outcome of the election. No doubt I missed them. But clearly, both were highly impactful & significant!!!
I guess so. 🙂 Now if people would just get over it and get on with their lives while waiting to see how things go. Just imagine if this response had come after the current president was elected! Sigh.
With all the protests ongoing, what about another political post? And for sure I will post a comment or two on it. We influenced the election itself. Now perhaps we can influence the aftermath. What say you woman?
Go for it. Lots of craziness in the air at the mo. Praying you will. And please give it 100% if you do. Your posts are invariably quite short – so a bit longer is required in this instance – if I may be so bold! Good luck.
Going live tomorrow morning, MB, albeit not without a bit of trepidation. You’ll be happy; it’s nice and long and has been re-done copious numbers of times. 🙂

Miniature world magic!!! 🙂
Merci beaucoup, Carol. 🙂
janet
Lovely miniatures! Love the drops!
Thanks so much, A-C. Drops are one of my photographic weaknesses. 🙂 Happy Friday.
janet
I know about that weekness – and we benefit from it! Have a great weekend!
I’m happy to read that, A-C. 🙂
How gorgeous! I love the small droplets on the leaf:)
Hi, Inger. Thanks for dropping in from your travels. Glad you liked the tiny things. Have a wonderful weekend.
janet
These are lovely Janet. The sky reflected in the water droplets are magical.
Thanks, Su! I love drop shots and shots that reflect something are even more fun. Enjoy your weekend.
The first photo is very beautiful with the tiny waterdrops, and I really like the mushrooms too. Have a nice friday!
Thanks, Lena. It’s a nice Friday when the pingbacks are working on WP. 🙂
janet
You are right, so nice when you don’t need to get frustrated 😀
Great photos, Janet. Have a lovely weekend.
Mercy buckets, as we like to say when fracturing French, Sandra. You have a lovely weekend as well.
The droplets in your first photo look like jewels. Beautiful!
If they had been, they would not longer have been there after I took the photo, Karen. 🙂 Thanks and happy weekend. Are you getting cold weather there?
janet
Haha. Still mild but cloudy and showery here. Happy weekend to you too!

Nice one J. Macro lens or you use the macro rings?
Just my iPhone 5s, MB. I do have some Olloclips, but I didn’t have them with me.
janet
I do not have an iphone, but am amazed at the macro capability. Wicked!
I am as well, MB. Nice to see you and have a great weekend.

Agree. People need to chillax – like you & me!
Tru dat.

I say the thought has been going around and around in my head, so it’s very possible it will come out soon. Thanks for your support, MB.

Already working on it in my head, MB. Thanks for the support! Yes, it will be longer.
Good on ya!

Copious is good. Looking forward to it’s receipt. Good luck.
Thanks. I may need it. 🙂

Great entry! The first photo is marvelous.
I really appreciate the visit and you taking the time to tell me you love the photo/s, Maria. Thanks.

❤
The first one is magical!
Nice job this week, Janet. Those water droplets look like marbles. Big beautiful marbles.
Ω
Tiny stuff, aren’t they a blessing for us?
Very nice captures these are, Janet.
I think they are, Hammad. There’s so much beauty if you just look. Glad you enjoyed these.
janet
Those water droplets are just beautiful. I love the blue in them and it’s not because I ate any mushrooms.
🙂 What a relief to read, Irene!
janet
How beautiful – but the drops are the best!
Thanks so much, Connie. I’m very happy you like them.
janet
Perfect examples Janet. Those droplets are exquisite.
Thanks! Have a marvelous weekend.
janet
A agree with Madhu … PERFECT!!!
Again, thanks, Izzy.

Shows that tiny often goes with exquisite.
What a lovely comment! Thanks.
janet
Ha! Those tinies look really big! 🙂
It all depends how close you get. 🙂 Hope you had a great day, Joanne.
janet
Perspective is everything 🙂
There’s a whole new world down there, like a community in a community. Love the photos!
There really is a whole little world down there, Marion, and it’s (mostly) fun to discover it. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.
