Thanks, Georgie. That’s a lovely thing to read this morning (or any time.) I’m fascinated by these vines: how they curl around other plants, how lovely they are and, probably how deadly to some of the hosts. The shapes are so attractive!
I agree with GeorgieMoon.
I have also enjoyed watching the progression of your learning how to “sign” your works. I like the placement of your “brand” in this pic.
Randy
Although I want to “brand” my photos, I also like to not distract from the shot, hence the often hidden signatures. Thanks all around, Randy, and a blessed Sunday to you and yours.
Exactly. You went, from a year or more ago, when you first signed your pics with large signatures, to slowly, making them more appropriately sized so as not to distract from your work, and finally learning/realizing how to use your “eye” to find places for your signing that blend into and with your work. Of course. You are maturing and growing in your hobby/work. Congratulations.
The vines are like fencing except that they have a life of their own and go everywhere, attaching to what they will. Glad you like it, John! Happy Sunday.
That vine has such a curiously human quality, the way it’s clutching that wooden post so tightly. I’m not sure if it’s touching or just slightly creepy- maybe a little bit of both.
I love the way how you make quite boring, everyday objects into great photos!

That’s a very interesting subject!
Glad you like it, Aletta. I think the shapes of the vines are beautiful.

I’d love to make it my work someday.
Keep at it, Janet. You’re doing fine.
Watch. Watch. Watch.
Shoot. Shoot. Shoot
Refine. Refine. Refine,
Show. Show. Show.

At first glance, I thought there was wire from a fence wrapped around some wood. Then I got drawn in to see it is a vine. Cool perspective!

Those “posts” are actually stalks of nearby plants, Hannah. 🙂 The vines and their photogenic twirls are everywhere in the park.

Great photo and I love your title – perfect
Thanks, Raewyn. I always love it when a good title comes to mind. Have a lovely week.

Clever placement of your signature!
It’s always fun to try to find somewhere unobtrusive, jan.
