Stopped at a rest area during a trip, I found these glasses, but no one with them. I hope they weren’t needed for distance or that the person who left them wasn’t driving!
I lost my glasses in 2nd week of December and these looks quite the same 😀
Since this was several years ago, Hammad, I know they’re not yours. So frustrating to lose glasses, though! 😦
Oh good 🙂
I ordered up a new pair yesterday, anyway.
i’m hoping they are reading glasses, not driving glasses ,but yikes, they still would be greatly missed!
True. When I’m not wearing contacts, I wear glasses. The problem with misplacing them is that you can’t see well enough to easily find them! 🙂
I hope so… I’m a crazy peep on that front, when I see a shoes or glasses or things people lost, I always worry for the person the whole day….
I always wonder how someone can lose a shoe and not notice!
It makes your mind go wandering off on all types of stories to accompany those lost glasses. 🙂
That it did, Judy!
I hope the owner finds them. But, they helped make an excellent composition. Good job !
Good morning, Dan, and thanks. I hope someone came back for them, too, or that they at least weren’t expensive prescription glasses.
This photo would be a great writing prompt. It’s fun to find things like this.
I thought the same thing about a writing prompt, Laura. 🙂 It IS fun to find things like this that make you wonder and make up stories.
Bummer. I hope their owner retraced steps to reclaim them.
Isn’t it odd when you’re out and about and see leftovers of people? I have collected a few photos like this myself. One day, I will post them 🙂
It is odd, but does make for good imaginings. 🙂
Reminds me of finding a bottle of tablets someone had left at a well on the Nullarbor Plain which stretches for 2000 kms between Ceduna and Norseman and I’d say not a doctor or chemist anywhere in between. I’ve wondered about the person who left those!
That would be a bit odd…and rather inconvenient as well, especially if you didn’t discover it until quite far away!
Oh no! I have a pair of foldable reading glasses that I carry in the field. I LOVE THEM! They fold up to be less than 3 inches in length and fit in a little case that fits in my cargo pocket perfectly with my wallet. After checking the focus on an image I hung them on the neck of my t-shirt early this year and realized they’d fallen off me at some point during the time I was out birding. I ran back retracing my steps hoping no one picked them up! Luckily I found them. I would have been very upset with their loss. I hope the owner of this pair found them.
Thank goodness you found them. I know that feeling!!
Oh what a nice photo – so many of us have been here – looking for the lost specs!
We once toured a hotel on Oklahoma and decided to stay elsewhere – but I set me driving glasses on a chest and forgot them! I have not lost any since then – but they were irreplaceable because they were a frame not made anymore…. ;(
Isn’t it wild how random things just get left behind? My favorite curiosity is the one shoe factor.
I agree! How can someone not realize a shoe is missing? 🙂
My mind always wonders about those shoes. Did they have a fight and someone toss it out of a moving car? Was someone abducted? Were they drunk and walked out of it or did they sacrifice it just to drive my imagination wild? Lol
