Wow! This is lovely Janet. Very cool.
Thanks, Su. Just having a bit of fun playing with an editing app.
Intriguing. Not your usual style, Very French. Surreal. Impressionistic. How did you do it? I have to assume that it is a photo. A mélange of two? Or did you paint it?
A restfulness, a watching from and of the balcony onto a blur of a parking lot, and then a morass of movement, craziness; the rest of the world.
Very nice. Passionate mix of the colors: yellow and red. Which alternate between feverish activity and rest/warmth, and earthiness.
Tell us your side of this piece.
My side is much more mundane, Randy. I have a free app called Painnt. I took my photo of the snowy balcony, chose from the many possible edits, and came up with this. Oh, that I could paint this well myself! I would be busy getting ready to sell more of my work 🙂
That statement implies that you might already be selling some of your work. Is it true? 😉
Unfortunately, no. I haven’t really tried, though.
Reading other people’s comments is an important part of my experience with WordPress. Yes, indeed,—-French, surreal, impressionistic. I love this painting/photo!!! I would love to see a larger image of it.
Carol, I’m happy you enjoyed the edit so much. As it’s from an iPhone, I don’t know how much larger it would get without losing clarity.
Wow! I never saw snow look so hot! You capture the outer cold and the inner warmth in one picture. 🙂
Completely accidental, Marian, but I’m glad it worked. 🙂
Cool editing! It reminds me of one the painter apps I have for my cell phone.
I’m thinking about doing Wordless Wednesday for my Project 52 next. It seems the most flexible and I don’t have to write. 🙂
I know. 🙂 I enjoy Wordless Wednesday myself and since there’s not a host, you don’t have to feel as if you need to look at tons of other entries if you don’t want to.
Ah, you’re making a persuasive point! Plus I have loads of images to draw from if I don’t make it out to make a new image(s)
I quite often use old images, as I have thousands and thousands. I just consider it dipping into my files. 🙂
BTW, this is the Painnt App. I have it on my phone and iPad, but usually edit on my iPad as it’s much bigger. Otherwise, I use Picasa3 on my laptop (non-Apple.)
I currently only have two but had three painter apps. Both I’ve got in limbo or inactive states b/c I didn’t use them much. The app that reminded me of your latest image has gone missing from my purchased apps. 😦 I wonder if they didn’t keep up with iPhone upgrades?
I used to use Picasa sometimes. It’s on my computer still, but I don’t use it.
Who knows what happens with Apple or any other company that considers themselves on a part with God? I use Picasa almost all the time, but I don’t do too much editing most of the time.. I’ve thought of getting Lightroom, but haven’t gotten around to it.
Pretty! Some of the filters really do make new art from old art, don’t they? Such a warm and restful place.
Glad you stopped by, Joey. I’ll dust the snow off one of the chairs and bring out some hot chocolate.
Very nice! Be right there! 🙂
