“Solitude”. It’s not just for humans.
I like what you did with that, Janet. Have a good weekend.
Thanks very much, Sandra. I was trying to avoid the obvious and I’m also short on photos (only about 1,800) because my laptop is in for repairs and I only have my iPad. 🙂 You have a wonderful weekend as well.
That’s a beautifully made message and photo, Janet.
Thanks so much, Dan!
Great choice, Janet.
Thanks, Izzy. It’s nice to be back, but it was fun to take the time off.
Beautiful Janet!
Thanks very much, Nicole.

Very unique image, Janet. Lovely in its solitude. ❤
I wanted to be unique, Olga, so I’m happy to read I not only succeeded, but that you like it. Thanks. 🙂
🙂
Very beautiful composition! I love how you make the eye look for the “solitude” item until you get to the bottom of the picture. And this flower is my favorite!
Merci beaucoup, Juls! 🙂

Aw…. that’s just really cute, Janet. 🙂
🙂 Thanks, Sylvia.

,Simple beauty – love this photo.
Thanks! It makes me happy to read that.

Sweet li’l flower! My new kitty likes solitude, too; he hides out in the basement most of the time, and only comes out when he eats or needs some petting. 🙂
Cats and dogs are SO different. 🙂 Dogs just want to be around you all the time. Cats decide when they want to grace you with their presence.

Nicely composed and edited.
Thanks, Sally, and a happy Friday to you.

Aw, yeah, that’s a good one 🙂
Aw, thanks! 🙂

I love this! Really encapsulates the challenge.
Thanks, Karen. Great to read. 🙂

Thoughtful photo and reflection.
Thanks.

Aw come on J!!!!! This photo is a total cheat!!!!! And absolutely contrary to the rules specifically detailed in the WPC Handbook – which deems all photo ‘Set-ups’ as illegal & forbidden. There is also a ‘2 strikes & you’re out’ rule. Must now check your past posts to see if you’ve previously pulled a stunt like this – in your free n easy pre MB blogging days. Otherwise, a decent enough shot!
Hmmmm, have you recently been at the hookah, MB? I hope by the time you read this you’ve decided it will take too long to check all my past posts and have, metaphorically speaking, slapped yourself once or twice and gotten a grip! BTW, I checked the WPC Handbook and there is nothing like what you attempt to reference here.

OK. Truce. I’ll cut you some slack this time. Onwards!
🙂
Love the composition and the simplicity, Janet!
Thanks a lot, Anita. You never know what you’ll find when walking in the park.
True, and I’m glad we carry our cameras (ahem… phones) with us everywhere to capture these surprises. ☺
It can wreak havoc with keeping the heart rate up for exercise, though. 😉
😂
Count me amongst the fans of this post/photo Janet. It is so simple and beautiful; love it.
I shall so count you, Su, although I wasn’t really counting. Let me check. 81 so far, including you and your lovely comment.
Simple. Very good, thank you for posting, this was needed right now.
My pleasure. I’m happy it was what you needed.
