When walking in the park, I generally see the usual suspects: plants, animals, birds, tracks, and sometimes humans. But every so often, I have a close encounter of the odd kind, the sort that’s just right for a Sunday Oddball Photo Challenge episode. I edited this with Picasa’s Lomo-ish for just a bit more pizzaz.

That is definitely a weird one.
I always wonder how little things like this get where they are.

There is just a feeling of ENERGY waiting for release in this photo… maybe in the editing?? Cool, btw!
The editing just made it a little more saturated with color and put the vignette around the outside. I think maybe it’s the coiled feel, waiting to be released? Glad you like it, no matter where the feeling comes from

I am imagining one very happy dog, running free thorough the park and an owner kicking himself for not buying a proper leash. Great photo, Janet.
I should have found an ant or something to give perspective, Dan, as it’s a small piece of string rather than a leash. 🙂

Wow. It looks pretty big in the photo. That’s funny
Close-up shot. 🙂
I love these unexpected finds; so many possibilities for creating stories around them!
I’m with you, Su. 🙂

Very interesting…kinda stops you in your tracks.

The title for this one is GREAT, Janet. I never expected this image. Fun play with words.
Nice find too …
Issy 😎
I enjoy trying to find a good title. Thanks for appreciating it. You never know what you’ll find along the path.

I think titles for post are a bit difficult to come with. I’m always trying to not sound cliche. You do a good job with titles. Issy 😎
Thanks, Issy. Happy Friday.
