More wildflowers today. Have a happy and beautiful Saturday!!
Spring beauty (beautiful, but resilient):
Prairie trillium (slow to mature and may take up to 10 years to mature enough to flower!):
Not having any luck with this, maybe some type of scullcap? If anyone knows, please let me know in your comment. As I’m trying to have a life offline, I have to stop looking now. 🙂
White trout lily. There are great drifts of these but because they keep their heads lowered (at least at this point of the season), they’re aren’t highly visible.
love the flowers, Janet 🙂 have a lovely weekend ❤
Thanks and you as well. 🙂
Beauties all…
I thought you’d enjoy them, Sally Have a happy Saturday.

“may take up to 10 years to mature enough to flower” ??? must be a wildflower because I don’t know anyone with that much patience. Seeing these and flowers like these is the best part of spring. Thanks Janet!
You’re always welcome, Dan. I was amazed to read that as well. I liked them before and I now admire them as well!
Beautiful! I especially love the first two photos. Very nice!!
Beauty abounds 🙂
One is more gorgeous than the next! Glorious flowers Janet.
Thanks very much, Tina. I hope you’re having a wonderful spring weekend. It’s cold and rainy here, unfortunately. 🙂 But most of the week was grand.
Gorgeous flowers to find!!
Thanks very much, Deborah.

I’m impressed with your flower knowledge Janet. Hope you’re having a great weekend.
Ha! I had to look them all up. 😁 it’s been a cold, windy, rainy weekend, but fine for all that.
Hehe. I thought I was the only one who had to do that. 🙂
I know what I like, but I don’t know what most of them are. 🙂
Same here. I’ve found some nice hedging in the neighbourhood, and haven’t been able to find out what it is online. I may have to knock on the homeowner’s door and ask 🙂
Go for it!
🙂 I’m hoping it’s the same house that has a really lovely tree with clusters of drooping pale pink flowers. I want to ask if I can take a small branch of it to photograph. Not sure I’m brave enough to knock on two doors!
Sure you are! Can’t wait to see what you find.
Love the red one!!!
I love those, too.

Nice ❤ ❤ ❤
Thanks.

Gorgeous Janet! I haven’t checked yet to see if ours are out yet as I’ve been sick. Must get over to the spring gardens and see soon!
Hopefully, as you’re further north, there will still be some. I’m wondering by the time I get out next time whether most of them will be gone. The violets, though, tend to last quite long.
We do have lots of flowers. I guess I had not seen them since I’d spent so much time sick! It is finally glorious spring weather after a ton of rain.
Love your this post
