I see that by missing last week, I missed my chance to somehow employ a favorite quote: “Danger, Will Robinson. Danger.” Drat. Ah, well, we had a good time in Philadelphia despite the less than stellar weather and thankfully no danger there or on the road, other than the danger of a mental blowout when the traffic in Indiana was constantly slowed by construction or other issues. 🙂
This week, the challenge theme is “Reflecting.” This is one of my favorite shots because it’s both a shot of reflections and a place where I was peacefully reflecting while in San Francisco some years ago.
beautiful photo!
Thanks! It’s one of my favorites.

Beautiful, Janet. Love the coloring and wispy reflections. ❤
Thanks, Olga. It gives me such a sense of peace.
❤
There is puzzlement in my brain J. Not sure what to say. And that’s unusual for MB.
Pray tell, MB, why art thou having brain puzzlement?
j
Because I can’t quite work out that shot J. Ergo, puzzlement.
Reflections of plants in a shallow pond with a little plant something floating in the front. Very Japanese, don’t you think?
I can’t even see the reflection in the first place!
The plants are the reflection, not the actual plants.
Mmmmm….
Everything except the little floating object is a reflection on the water. 🙂
Finally the penny drops!
I’m glad it was only a penny or I’d ask you to return it!!
Yankies are so money orientated!
Terrible, isn’t it?
Yes.
On the streets where I live. Cool. 😎
Glad you like it, Carol.

Beautiful! The peaceful feeling comes right through.
Good, Karen. That’s exactly how it made me feel…and still does. If I could just hook it up with the barest sound of water, it would be great. 🙂
janet
Very peaceful, Janet!
Thanks, Sandra. Enjoy the rest of your week.
That’s a gorgeous photo, Janet. The colors and the subject are so calming. Hugs.
Thanks much, Teagan, and thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Wow Janet, this has an immediately calming effect as soon as you take it in.
That’s what I was hoping for, Joe. Glad it worked. 🙂
Lovely image.
Thanks so much. 🙂

The colour blue also enhancing the reflective mood. Love it.
The cool things is that I didn’t do anything with the color. That’s how it came out. 🙂 So glad you love it.
janet
How beautiful! I love the blue with many colors and the composition.
It really does convey a peaceful moment, Janet.
I’m glad you think so. I so enjoyed the way it turned out, so I’m happy that it feels the same to others.
Very serene, Janet.
Ω
Ohm. 🙂
💤
Very pretty!
On behalf of all Hoosiers, I apologize for the roads. Crossroads of America and all. You know we have two seasons? Construction and potholes 😉
🙂 I don’t hold you responsible. Glad you liked the shot. I think those seasons are in many northern states.
janet
How dreamy
Thanks, Suzanne.

I can see why it’s a favourite shot Janet. 🙂
I hadn’t thought about it for awhile, but I think I may get a print made of this as it’s so peaceful.
That sounds like a great idea 🙂
This is beautiful!
Thanks so much, Deborah. It was so peaceful.

Beautiful photo, Janet. Sometimes, I think I’d rather drive through bad weather than construction season. Glad you made it home safe.
I understand that, Dan. I sometimes feel the same. It’s frustrating to drive mile after mile at such a slow pace, especially when nothing’s actually happening. Worse to have to sit or barely move for ages.
I have drive I-80 across PA too many times. And, I have more trips in my future.
Great shot!
Thanks! ❤️

I love your shot. I had to chuckle at the Danger, Will Robinson. Danger comment. When my kids we little and about to get into something unsafe I would say No. Danger. When my mom would hear me she would say Danger, Will Robinson. Danger! 🙂
🙂 Glad you enjoyed the shot as well as the quote. I guess that’s known to those of a certain age. 🙂

Beautiful feel and colour….very Zen 🙂
That’s exactly what I felt and wanted to convey, Madhu. Have a wonderful weekend.
