  1. OK. I’m not biting.
    But what is all that?
    Randy

    • Randy, the salad has lettuce, potato, ham, Comte cheese (the cheese from that part of France, and hard-boiled egg. The lettuce and egg are cold, most of the rest of the salad is warm and there’s a cream dressing. The yellow disc is called frico, a round of Parmesan cheese or Paremsan disc. The salad is delicious!

  2. Lenore Brashear says:

Yes, what, is the yellow mound? I can identify egg, maybe ham or lamb, lettuce, looks like cheese chunks, maybe toast under it, but the yellow mound?

    • Lenore, sorry for the late reply, but I just got back into town and a decent computer. The salad has lettuce, potato, ham, Comte cheese (the cheese from that part of France, and hard-boiled egg. The lettuce and egg are cold, most of the rest of the salad is warm and there’s a cream dressing. The yellow disc is called frico, a round of Parmesan cheese or Paremsan disc. The combination is delicious!!

  3. Miam! Is the mound a cream of some sort, like creme fresh? Dried tomato, potatoes diced, jambon, laitue, un crouton, vinaigrette, un oeuf. Une salade gourmande!

  4. Jeanne says:

Looks like a fancy corn chip topping the salad…interesting.

  5. Allan G. Smorra says:

    Good eats!
    Ω

  6. Su Leslie says:

Oh I love the Parmesan wafer. One of my favourite cheeses.

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
