I’m back from a lovely vacation in the wilds of Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains and ready for today’s WordPress photo challenge theme of “Structure“, although I’m not ready for it to be September day after tomorrow!
Here are two examples of structure, one manmade (although there’s natural structure in the wood), the other made by one of nature’s creatures. I find them both beautiful.
Both photos are awesome!
Thanks! I’m really glad you think so.

Just beautiful! Happy Wednesday, Janet!
Thanks, Sandra! Can’t say “Enjoy the weekend” anymore. 🙂
I still preferred Friday night. It was a great way to kick off the weekend. 😦
The patterns on the photo below is so cool 🙂
The wasp’s nest? I liked it, especially without the wasps. 🙂

Ya let’s leave the temperamental little buggers out eh lol

as they are great examples for structure!
Have a very HAPPY day – or whatever is left of it 😉
Claudia 🙂
Thanks, Claudia. Enjoy the rest of your week. 🙂
I love the green painted stairs, that is my favorite color.
And it has such a lovely curve besides. 🙂
janet
The colors and shape of the staircase are really pleasing to the eye.
Thanks. I thought so, too.
janet
I agree, Janet – both kind of structures have different types of allure.
So many kinds of beauty, aren’t there?
Absolutely, yes.
That staircase is gorgeous 🖤
Thanks. I thought so, too, and it’s tucked away in a corner where no one can see it. 😦
janet
Both lovely images Janet. I do like the juxtaposition of natural and human structures 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed where I went with the post, Su.
Beautiful choices, Janet. And yes, Sep. starts tomorrow. 😭
Hard to believe, but hopefully lots of good weather still left.
Fingers crossed!
Nice captures!!! Especially the honey comb one. Loved it😊
Thanks, Megha. The honeycomb is actually as wasp’s next, thankfully without wasps! But it does look like honeycomb, which would be lovely, too. 🙂
janet
Ohh k.. I have never seen one though😰. That capture is really nice🙂
That’s OK, Megha. It’s always fun to learn something new. 🙂
