  1. The cool night air has been elusive this holiday weekend. Temps hit the SF Bay Area coast in the 100s (my house hit 92 F and we don’t have a/c so we did what most people do; head to the theater for a movie but reality returned at home when the temp registered 90 inside. Still, can’t complain too much when people in Texas have more concerns than our minor complaints.

    Nice post for Sunday!

    • Reminds me of one year when my s-i-l lived in Provence. It was in the 40’s (into the 100’s) and of course, no one has AC and many businesses don’t, either. So we went to a mall, a place we would normally not have gone near, as did lots of other people. We also consumed lots of Magnum ice cream bars…when they weren’t sold out. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope things cool down for you but I agree, no complaining when one thinks of Texas and coastal points east!

    Well conjured, Janet.

  4. The words, and image are lovely!

  5. Su Leslie says:

Lovely words and image Janet. I’m reminded of a holiday in Corsica, in the mountains. The total darkness that descended was amazing.

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
