I love finding the small beauties in the world and then photographing them. It’s too easy to see the big picture yet miss the individual pieces that make up that picture. The park is full of these gems, in this case, gems made of ice. However, I, unlike Stevie, don’t keep my visions to myself. I share them with you!
Now here I go again, I see the crystal visions
Dreams, Stevie Nicks
I am grateful for the silence of winter mornings, for the beauty and wonder of the glint of sunlight in frost melting to dew, for the early-riser’s peaceful solitude that sets a mood of thankfulness, hope, and calm for the dawning day.

🙂 Good morning, dear Janet,
fascinating pictures you are showing us!
Have a very HAPPY day! 🙂
Thank, Claudia, and you as well.
Wonders of winter. Thank you very much for sharing them with us, Janet 🙂
I’m happy to share, Hammad. I’m waiting for real winter and some snow, but nothing so far.
You spent some productive time in the cold – thanks for sharing.
It was a marvelous couple of hours, Dan. I’m pleased you’re enjoying the results.

I’m not enjoying the prospect of being out in that kind of weather, but it does lend itself to some great photo-ops. You did good, Janet.
Aww shucks, Dan. Thanks. 🙂
You’re right. Simple yet elegant. You have a good eye for beauty. I’m glad I get to enjoy your talent through your blog. —-Ginger—-
Thanks so much, Ginger. 🙂 I really appreciate reading that and I’m happy that you’re enjoying the photos and blog. Happy Tuesday.

WOW! That is fabulous!
The entire walk was filled with fabulous sights, Marian. It was such a joy.

This is outstanding, Janet. I love the whisper of sunlight on the frost. Good eyes, kind heart.

Merci beaucoup, Allan. I hope your week’s off to a wonderful start.
It’s getting better. I’ve been battling a flu-like bug since last week. Every day is a bit better than the day before, so I am good with that.

Oooo, we had similar issues a few weeks ago. Glad you’re feeling better and I hope you’re completely recovered soon.
Every day a victory….

True.
A beautiful perspective paired with lyrics from my favorite musician – what’s not to like? Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. If I were there today, I’d be blown away, almost literally. We’re having very high winds as a cold front moves in. Started last night and still going strong this morning Happy Tuesday, Madison.

Wow, what a stunning marvel of mother nature! I absolutely hate to consider temperatures capable of creating such a phenomenon, but at least, I can appreciate its beauty from afar.
It wasn’t too bad that day, Hannah, although it obviously started off below freezing. By the time I left, it had gotten quite warm. But I’m always glad to help you appreciate winter from your warm spot in California. 🙂

Great use of Ms. Nicks’ words. I love her – and your picture.
I’m glad you’re not keeping your visions to yourself Janet! 🙂
🙂 Maybe you should be glad this my only type of vision! Ha!
Hehe. I just put found Rumours in my playlist and am listening to Second Hand News as I eat breakfast and catch up on WP.
Delightful. 🙂
So pretty — I’m enjoying this ‘sorta frozen’ series you’re on lately 🙂
Thanks. Yeah, it’s a sorta series that will have to take a break tomorrow for Thursday Doors and maybe Friday for Friday Flowers. And then…frozen!
janet
AH! how wonderful to see these frozen creations. Beautiful.
Thanks so much, Anne.
