We’re thankfully a bit warmer, Judy, but I’ll be going out to walk with a friend in about an hour and it’s certainly not at all warm. Lots of layers going on, but it’s good to get out.
We anticipate the move come August 2018, though we are house hunting now – and have our current house under contract to close by March – as we have to put on a new roof.
This photo brings both beauty and warmth. Just hit 9 degrees here!! Brrrrr. I know the equipment is a big factor when taking photos, but you have the magic eye!! —-Ginger—-
It’s a bit above 9 here, Ginger, at least before windchill, but when it’s dark, it always seems colder. I’ll be walking with a friend in an hour, so I’ll be bundled up!! I’m very happy you enjoyed the photo. It was taken in Arizona. I’m looking forward to my trip there in mid-January to visit my parents and hopefully get some more good desert shots.
Ha, yes, very different. I really like the desert beauty and am thankful to see it each year when I visit my parents in January. It’s also a nice break from winter, of course. 🙂
The back light is beautiful! Good eye Janet!
Good morning and thanks, Deborah. Happy Friday!
Happy Friday to you too! 🙂
Pretty
Thanks, Nessa. Have a good Friday and a great weekend.

🙂 This is such a fantastic picture of a beautiful flower, dear Janet!
Have a very HAPPY third Advent weekend 🙂
Thanks, Claudia, and a happy Advent week to you as well. Looking forward to our daughters coming home soon.
Thank you – I needed that. It’s 7 degrees here this morning. 🙂

oh, Janet, that’s wonderful.
Randy
Thanks very much, Randy. Hope you’re enjoying some warmth there.
it’s been a little chilly lately. High 30’s to mid 40’s. This morning warmed up to 52.
But we’ll be moving to the Chattahoochee mountains in North Georgia, so we’re preparing to get used to the cold again,
That will be a change. When are you moving? In the mountains? We might have to visit you. 🙂

beautiful soft light, tack sharp focus where it needs to be… thank-you..
Much appreciated, Anthony. My pleasure. Thanks for stopping by on a cold morning and taking the time to comment as well. Happy Friday.

Lovely light and color.
Thanks, Sherry, and have a wonderful weekend. Do you have snow there?
janet
New snow soon. Nothing stuck so far.
All we’ve had recently are snowflakes flying through the air but not really sticking. I’m ready for a few inches. 🙂
Your use of available light is superb, Janet. I love the glow of the blossom.
Ω
Right place and angle at the right time, Allan. It made all the difference. Thanks!
A perfectly lit flower – gorgeous, Janet.
Thanks so much, A-C. Enjoy the weekend!
I love the combination of the purple and green, colors I wouldn’t have put together otherwise. Wonderful picture.
Thanks. God does great work. 🙂
janet
Wow… Beautiful!

Stunningly beautiful. 😀
Many thanks, Cee, and best wishes for a good weekend.

That dream-like glow is so beautiful. You really have such an eye for capturing the perfect light.
Thanks very much, Hannah. 🙂 It’s always exciting when a photo comes out as beautifully as I saw the scene. Happy weekend!

Wow, the light here and your photo could not be more stunning or elegant, Janet.
This too, though utterly different from Jack Frost 🙂 🙂
