The girls are home, I have one day of work left (today), and it’s almost Christmas. That means it’s time to take a blogging break and enjoy the season. I’m going to share a few of our Christmas decorations and wish each of you and yours the most merry and blessed Christmas you’ve ever had. Count your blessings, hold your loved ones close, and take time to enjoy the season. Thanks for being part of the blessings of my blogging life! I greatly appreciate all of you.

And of course, the real Reason for the season.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
your decorations are wonderful… and your tree is like a light in the darkness…well done!!! have a wonderful christmas and all the best for a good 2018
Thanks. The girls and my husband will decorate our big tree today, but this one comes from a time when our younger daughter was little (and very active.) We were afraid she might grab ornaments on a regular tree, so I did this one and we put in on the card table in the playpen, almost the only time the playpen was used. It became a yearly tradition.

Thank you for being one of your blogging friends – and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!
I’m so glad we met, A-C. With luck, perhaps we’ll meet one day in person. I’d love that.
janet
I’d love that too💚
Lovely views Janet! enjoy your Christmas with your family and the best for 2018 – and we’ll connect back up after:)

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Lovely decorations especially the nativity set which is always a good reminder of what we are celebrating. Have a nice break and see you in the new year. 🙂
Thanks so much, Judy. Please send a bit of snow if you’d be so kind. I always love snow at Christmas, but it doesn’t look like we’ll have any this year. Ah, well, that’s not the reason to celebrate.

We have it forecasted for the next four days. I’d be glad to send some your way. 🙂
The forecast is now saying we might get some on Sunday, but not a lot, I don’t imagine. Even a cosmetic amount would be appreciated! 🙂
Beautiful nature tree. All your decorations are lovely. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas with your family and a healthy, happy, safe New Year. —-Ginger—-
Thanks very much, Ginger. 🙂

Merry Christmas to you and yours, and a Happy New Year!

Thank you, Janet! Wishing you a lovely Christmas, and all the best for 2018
Thanks, Sue.
Beautiful decorations, Janet. I am so not ready. We just got our tree, put the lights on last night and I’ll decorate it today. That is the only decoration we will have. I just don’t have the energy or inclination to bring out all the village houses, etc. Maybe next year. I still have some presents to get. Glad we found each other this year. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family and a very Happy New Year. J2
Still waiting for the rest of my family to decorate the big tree, but everything else looks very festive. The forecast is saying we might even get a bit of snow on Sunday, which would be lovely!!!
Merry Christmas, Janet and, if you’re taking a break, I’ll wish you a Happy New Year now too. I have enjoyed your photography throughout the year, and I look forward to seeing what you bring us in 2018.
And a Merry Christmas to you and yours, Janet.
Thanks very much, Robin.

Thanks, Claudia. Time for myself may not come until everyone is gone, but that’s OK. I did have a lovely solitary walk in the park this morning. 🙂
