Because some days are just like that. 🙂 Not sure I’d want to come home to this every day, though. Happy February!

A bit weird.
More than a bit, but showcasing artistic talent I certainly lack. 🙂 It would also be easy to tell someone which door is yours!
janet
For sure, no mistaking that door.
I applaud the artistic talent, but I wouldn’t want to see that every day either. 🙂
I certainly agree, Judy, but as I mentioned to Kelly, simple to tell someone which door was yours. 🙂
janet
LOL, not sure if I like that door or not. Sure has individuality going for it, though!
I like seeing it, but I think I’d prefer something slightly more conventional. 🙂
janet
That’s quite a find.
It certainly stands out. 🙂
janet
I think I’d like that as my front door. Get home and know I am leaving the crazy outside, and I’m safe inside once i close the door behind me. 🙂
🙂 That’s a unique way of looking at it, Angeline. I like that thought.
janet
Very colorful artwork. I can see a social comment on the width of the doorway, especially in the stacked eyes.
Ω
Let me in on what you see, Allan. I’m not seeing it at all.
janet
The caricature seems to be squished within the confines of the doorway. It’s as if he’s too large for the opening.
Ω
I get it. My brain’s a bit slow this morning. 🙂
Happy Pre-Friday.
Ω
Yikes, looks like a rabid monkey.
Can’t say I thought of that one, J2. 🙂
janet
That would give me reason to pause at the end of a long day.
🙂
janet
Happy February to you too. He looks a bit tired. My guess is his comments are not coming through. 😀
After seeing your follow-up comment, I went to my spam folder and found your original. When I commented a bit earlier, I think your original comment hadn’t been made yet, so it wasn’t even in the spam folder.
janet
Thank you, Janet, for rescuing it. Some more bloggers have done the same. But then I had a little chat with Akismet people and they apparently solved the problem in no time. Yeah!
That’s hilarious, Janet. What a find!
Glad you like it, Jean. 🙂
Not quite my speed either but it certainly gets an A for originality 😉
I agree, Norm. To each his/her own, I guess. Not sure I’d want my door to be the door right next to it, either. 🙂
janet
An old “teen” must be living here! Certainly a conversation starter:):)
You may be right, Jesh. It’s definitely a conversation starter!!
janet
Wow!
Exactly. 🙂
janet
Oh my!
I’m chuckling because that was my feeling when I saw it.
janet
It is quite scary, would put off intruders!!!
Or maybe it would attract them as it’s so distinctive.
janet
😱
👏
🙂
janet
Now that’s one creative approach to deterring home invaders! I would certainly think twice before facing down this off-kilter gate keeper…
🙂 Someone had a good time painting that, Hannah.
janet
Think twice about ringing that doorbell! 🙂
I know! 🙂
janet
Interesting artwork … perhaps, the person inside is giving a fair warning.
I like it in a weird way. I can’t say I’d have it as my front door. Janet you always wonderful doors.
Isadora 😎
France and Philadelphia are my best places to find great doors. There are some lovely ones around us, but mostly the same type on very new, very lovely, very expensive homes.
I think I would LOVE France. I love the language. The people are avant garde and artistic, like me. hehe Actually, my mothers father was French. He died before I was born. Maybe, there’s a instinctive feel. Keep looking for those fabulous doors. 👍😀
I always look for doors, Issy, and I hope you make it to France one day soon.
janet
My first thought was “yikes.” I guess it keeps the solicitors away.
🙂 If so, it might be worth doing!
janet
That’s definitely an original door!! Great find Janet. 🙂
It’s not for me, either, but it’s a winner 🙂
Thanks, Joey. I gel the same. 😊
janet
That would be “I feel the same.” Sigh.
On days when I feel like that, opening this door would probably make me smile.
I’m smiling just thinking about it. I think you’re right.
janet
I woder if it deters for to door salespeople. I’d repInt my front door to achieve that!!
LOL! A Monster door. Good find.
Definitely different, that’s for sure. 😜
janet
Wow. Just wow.
I know. 🙂
janet
Love it, makes me smile! But you are right, I don’t think I would want to come home to this door every day. =)
It’s a good find…on someone else’s door. 🙂
