That’s a photo from five or six years ago, Jo, so it doesn’t give anything away. However, today it’s not only about 60 F but raining like fury, so no snow left now!

Dry-laid walls are amazing, Allan. When we lived in Cleveland, we saw this one often and it always brought me pleasure.
Out here in our town there was an Italian family of stonemasons who did a lot of work 100 years ago. Their walls are still standing and have gotten better over time as they have aged.

When I saw the quote, I knew immediately the shot I wanted to use with it. It then just became a matter of finding it amongst all the photos I have (and which aren’t very well labeled.) 🙂
