One Word Sunday…mask

The branches mask my view of the deer.  I hope to see more deer at the park this spring.

Other visual interpretations of “mask” can be seen on Debbie’s One Word Sunday challenge.  Feel free to drop by and take a look.

    Very well captured. 🙂

    Good take on the challenge!

  3. Beautiful photo. When I see deer up close and personal at home, it is because my neighbor is feeding them and they’ve stopped off to have dessert in my garden. 🙂

    • We had a similar problem when we lived in Cleveland, Judy. One night I looked out the kitchen window and there were six or seven deer right in the driveway. During another night, something (and yes, I suspect deer), ate off all the daylily flowers in my side garden. We haven’t seen any in our yard here, but if we lived near the park, I imagine we might.

How wonderful to see the deer, even through the branches – I have only see a few fleeting glimpses in the past couple of years…they seem to be very timid now! Great capture!

    • I haven’t seen any yet this year, but once it dries off enough that I can go on the paths that people don’t usually walk on in the park, I’ll have a better chance of spotting some.

  5. They’re adorable! I saw two yesterday while on my way down the trail. They were resting in the grass til I disturbed them by walking by. I don’t think my iPhone snaps are nearly this good.

Lovely seeing the deer enjoying their natural habitat!
