Happy Wednesday to all of you reading this! In NE Illinois, spring is gradually taking over: temperatures are warmer (enough to have windows open for a bit yesterday), the grass is getting green, and the sturdy survivors of the cold weather, daffodils, and the like, are showing their beautiful faces. The sun is shining today, which always makes things better.
Today’s photo challenge theme is “Lines”, which immediately brought to mind a photo I took in the print shop one day while hanging out with our daughter.
[…] lines (this, that & the other thing) […]
This could double as a cooling rack for baked goods, Janet. Nice POV and use of lines.

Hopefully no one’s cooking anything in the print shop, Allan. 🙂 Whatever this is used for (maybe drying prints?), the lines really drew me in (no pun intended, but I’ll take it.)
Hi J. For a minute there I thought it was reinforcing steel and a big concrete pour was on the cards. Can’t figure it out at all. MB
I try never to pour concrete on cards, MB, but although I’m not sure what the rack is used for, it could be for drying prints once they’re done. Or maybe it was just there so I could take a photo of it to use in this photo challenge all these months later. Who knows? 🙂

Ok. A rack. Of sorts. Nothing to do with concrete. Or cards. I’ll sleep easier now J. Thanks. MB
Glad I could assist you, MB.
Fantastic lines. 😀
Thanks, Cee. There were so many of them that they seemed endless.

Ooh that looks complex, until you see a familiar pattern emerge!
You’re right, Anita, but it really catches the eye, doesn’t it?
janet
It so does; I happily stared at the picture for a while, taking it in! 🙂

Wonderful Geometry. Hanging lines?
No, but maybe for drying prints? Not really sure. I’ll have to check with my daughter.
janet
What ever they are your take on them would be a good print.
BTW we’re going to France where would you for first timers for a few days? Your council is appreciated
What an amazing shot.
Thanks! I’m glad you like it. It’s one of those shots I had to take and I took a few shots.
janet
Nice – I love lines. This is really interesting.
Thanks, Dan. I loved these lines, too.
janet
Amazing capture on linear intraspection!
Thanks very much, Robert, both for the visit and the comment.

Tina, a marvelous image!
Hi, Viveka. It’s Janet, but thanks. I hope you got me confused with Tina Schell. It would be an honor. 🙂 Did you have fun visiting Claudia?
janet
Janet, so sorry …. I mixed you up with Tina … done it many times. So, sorry. Had a fantastic day with Dia, as I call her. A brilliant day at Schönbrunn Palace. We were so lucky with the weather. Loads of calories through the day and plenty talk. I wish a pleasant weekend.
Yes! Lines in super abundance, Janet!
I thought of this shot immediately, Sue. It contains a plethora of lines and a super abundance as well! 🙂
Very good!
Happy Wednesday to you as well!
Thanks. It’s been quite a nice day.
janet
Endless indeed. Great photo.
Thanks so much. 😊

Nicely done and interpreted.
Thanks very much, Sally.

What a wonderful response to the lines challenge.
Thanks very much, Anne. I just loved seeing whatever that was. 🙂
janet
Those are some lines! Nicely framed and composed.
Happy Wednesday to you too…what’s left of it!
Thanks, Deborah. It was a good day. Tomorrow I go for the interview, et al part of getting by Global Access. Hurrah!
janet
Break a leg, or best of luck!
A lot of beautiful lines!
Glad you enjoyed them. I did, too. 🙂
janet
Interesting photo, Janet!
Thanks, Aletta.
I agree with all the comments above and WOW those are a bunch of lines, for sure, Janet.
Great choice for the challenge.
Izzy 😎
