Not one, but two celebrities, unbeknownst to them, were captured in this shot:Β Half Dome on the left and Bridal Veil Falls on the right, two of the stars of Yosemite National Park.

Beautiful photography, you captured the majesty of these celebrities!
I’m glad you thought so, Brenda. On the day we left, they were wreathed in fog/clouds, giving me a completely different but gorgeous perspective.

Great take on celebrity, Janet!
Thanks, Sue. I had to work hard to figure something out for this one!! Debbie’s getting a bit ornery. π
Ornery? better not tellherπππ
π
Two in one – neatly done!
Thanks, A-C. π

Beautiful.

Thanks, Allan. It’ a beautiful place, that’s for sure.

OMG. What a wondrous shot!
Love it.
Randy
Wow, thanks so much, Randy! We were only there for about two days, but I got quite a few marvelous shots. So happy you like this one.

Oh, my favorite place in the world! Looks “refreshing,” you’ll have to check out my new photo challenge that started today. You are welcome to link this post! Glorious pic and truly a celebrity!
OK, thanks. π

…and the lower peak in Cathedral Rocks! Where’s the Love button? I will pass through some of the high country part of the park next month. I’m looking forward to seeing it again. I don’t think I will ever tire of the views in this remarkably, beautiful place.
I wish I could get there more often, but this very, very short visit was a blessing.
janet
I”m glad you saved some images to share and surprise us with more of the beauty you saw and had while there.
I have lots more, Debbie. Maybe I should do a few days of retrospective. π
janet
Great one I need to get up there soon!
I’d go more often if I were close, that’s for sure.
janet
So beautiful! I need to go to Yosemite!!!
You’d love it, but try to go in the off-season if you can. We went in March and we fortunate to get some excellent weather, but there were quite a few people even then. But during the summer, I guess it’s crazy!
janet
Stunning!
It certainly stunned me, Dan.

Two great stars
And a great choice for celebrity, Janet
Thanks, Debbie. Just trying to think out of the box. π
Love this take on the theme Janet π
I had to do something different, Su, so I’m glad this worked. π But hey, celebrities don’t have to be people and I care more about these two than most human celebs.
π thatβs whatβs so great about it. Nature is the real celebrity β not some five minute wonder famous for being famous.
Gorgeous photo!
Thanks, Joanne. Hopefully it does justice to the incredible view.

I’ve never been, but it looks like an amazing experience!
Oh Janet, what a stunning view!
It was. I don’t know if you saw the shots I did after I was there, but there were some beauties there. I may have to share a few more soon.
Pleaaaase do!
Such a great capture!
Thanks.

I’m so glad I got the chance to visit Yosemite when we were on vacation in that part of the world in 2010, Janet. We even saw a bear. It was a wonderful place. Great capture.
I’m glad you did, too, Hugh. It’s one-of-a-kind. Yellowstone is another special place.
Yellowstone is on my list for next time, Janet. It always reminds me on Yogi Bear.
Wonderful shot, Janet! π π
It’s easy to get good shots there, Jo, because everything is so beautiful. π
I’d love to see it for myself, Janet. π
Hi, Janet. Your post makes me want to go to Yosemite (again). π Lovely image.
Thanks, Patti. It’s truly a wonder-filled, beautiful place. I’m happy you enjoyed my shot.
Stunning view ! π
It truly was, Cristina.

My favorite place ever. Endless beauty.
Very true, Kathleen. I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it more often.

Beautiful
Thanks! It’s a beautiful place.

I loved Yosemite when I visited some years back, and enjoyed gazing up Bridal Veil falls, although there wasn’t too much water because it was winter.
I hadn’t been there since I was young, but it was so beautiful.
