I try not to pat myself on the back, as it’s hard on my arm. 🙂 I was fortunate to have my camera that day and to be able to get the shot before one of them moved…and to have the light in the right place. Thanks, Judy. I like this one quite a lot.
That gives new meaning to the phrase “picture perfect”.
My first reaction was “aw”.
Then my second reaction was “how much did you pay the rabbit to stay put?”
But the true reaction is that the pic is picture perfect.
Submit it somewhere. It deserves recognition (along with so many of your other shots).
Thanks very much, Randy. I’ve been thinking a lot about trying to do something with my photos, so I really appreciate the encouragement. Just have to start trying to find somewhere to submit or something to do with them.
These two weren’t there very long after this, Hannah, but as I was by myself and not making lot of noise or moving quickly, they deigned to stay for just long enough. 🙂
I was worried that if I moved to quickly they’d be gone before I could get the shot…and that if I didn’t move quickly enough, they’d be gone before I got the shot. 🙂
I love the different layers of light receding through the tree tunnel. Great job getting a motionless deer and rabbit in the same photo.

It’s one of those moments that make me smile and laugh for the pure joy of the moment.

That is amazing
Thanks, Pauline. I got there just at the right time.

Magnificent shot!
Talk about being in the right place at the right time. Thanks, Ruth. I’d forgotten I had this shot.

It’s a winner. Serendipity then
Whatever it was, it worked and I was very grateful.
Photography can be exasperating but when it rhymes- it feels so satisfying.
Very true.
Wonderfully caught!
It was my lucky morning, Tish. 🙂

Okay, I think you earned an A++ on this photo. This is an amazing shot, Janet. Pat yourself on the back because you earned it. 🙂

Great capture, Janet!
Thanks, Dan. I’d forgotten all about it until I went searching for something for Wordless Wednesday.
“Wordless…” I’m not sure I could handle that 😉
😎
Wonderful capture. Great job.
Thanks very much. 🙂

Wow! What a picture! And now my trivial brain whispers, “Bambi and Thumper!”
Ha, Marian. I never even thought of that. 🙂

This is a 5 star photograph. Such a superb capture of these two animals. Nature at its best.
Issy 😎
It was a special moment, Issy, and I’m so happy I could capture it.

It was a speical moment. It was as if they were saying, ‘Please photograph me.’ I think it’s a phenominal photograph. 😎
Thanks.
Wow! What a beautiful, incredible moment you captured. I’m such an oaf, I always scare wildlife away when I try to photograph it.

That’s lovely Janet!

Fabulous shot! I was holding my breath, just looking 🙂 🙂
