While it’s true that we did have a margarita or two while in Baja California (also known as Mexico), we weren’t wasted. We were on a mission to check out the place where our older daughter will be married this fall. A beach wedding (the beach seen here) will be as lovely as is the surrounding area. I had several wonderful mornings walks and found the perfect spot on the far side of the rocks you see here, out of the wind, to enjoy the sun later in the day.
Wasted away again in Margaritaville. (Not.)

That is so pretty! Congratulations on your daughter’s upcoming wedding 🙂 BTW, I am ordering coffee beans this week for your SIL’s June shipment so it’ll be going out near the end of the month.
I’m sure she’s enjoying the coffee greatly, Madison. One of our best gifts to her yet!

Looks wonderful, Janet.
It’s a beautiful little area, Tish, and they can get so much more for their money than they could if they looked in the Los Angeles area where they live!
that will be beautiful – congrats!
Thanks. It will.

What a nice place for a wedding in the Fall. Congrats to all.

Thanks, Allan. I waved in the direction of you and Deborah while I was there. 🙂 Too bad SF and LA are so far apart, at least for visiting purposes.

Next time, Janet. Next time.

That’s beautiful.
It’s a beautiful place, that’s for sure.

Congrats all – couple and family!
Thanks very much, A-C.

It looks lovely!! How nice a destination wedding!
I think it will be a wonderful time and a beautiful venue.

It will be!
Baby Girl and her Fiance are looking at wedding venues. They’re getting married next year. I haven’t been invited to view any with her…yet.
She’s only be engaged a month. 🙂 They’re looking in and around Wine Country here.
Ooo, wine country would be nice, although I’m sure it’s expensive. This venue was decided on before we saw it, although she sent us photos. They’ll get so much more bang for their buck.
No doubt very expensive. She isn’t talking to me about expenses. They’re paying for the venue. ☺
Will you stay for a bit after the wedding yourselves and have a little vacation too? Away from the Bride and Groom of course?
No, everyone is pretty much leaving the next day and I think the newlyweds will be taking vacation some time after the wedding, which is probably a good plan.
Hopefully some will get there a few days before the wedding to enjoy the gorgeous location.
BTW, did you see me waving? 😊
🙂 My ears were ringing…that must have been you waving and saying “hi!” .☺
That was it. 🙂 I didn’t hear you answer, though.
😦 I’ll think of you harder, and wave bigger next time!
OK then. 🙂
😉
oh how lovely, Janet.
and last March I had a margarita and it put me to sleep = my first one in a long time and the salt and tart was nice, but made me soooo sleepy.
anyhow, congrats on the wedding and how nice to have so much time to prep (sometimes things are rushed and it sounds like this one is not) and this scenic view is a tremendous place to be married.
Just found this comment in my spam folder, so sorry for the big delay in response!! Yes, a drink can certainly make you sleepy, especially if you don’t drink often a/o much. The wedding venue is truly beautiful and hopefully the weather will be, too.
janet
