A magnificent heron! A larger than life sculpture of a heron welcomes us when we drive into our village of Ladner. Herons stalk along the drainage ditches on our farm road. Pose beautifully on one leg atop a fence post. More quietly through the farm fields searching for dinner. What an elegant bird. What a lovely photograph. Cheers Virginia
