for Six Word Saturday
I hope you’re going to have some jam or clotted cream with that lovely scone…..
I didn’t but it was still good. ☕️😉
That looks like afternoon tea to me!!
It was and quite tasty. 😁
Nice! Lashings of clotted cream??
Nope. Just plain. We served clotted cream at the tea shop where I worked, if people ordered it. But here they don’t have it. The scone was good anyway and the tea is always delicious.
Sounds good to me, Janet ! It’s a while since I’ve had clotted cream, but I do enjoy it….and also Mascarpone is good!!
After having to clean up after clotted cream, I’m not that interested in it. It’s really hard to clean up!!
😳
Yum
It was. ☕️😁
Yum!
I usually just have tea but I was hungry that day. 😉
Nothing wrong with that. It looks like you chose well.
Enjoy the day
I am. Thanks. 😉
Mmm
Yes!
Love scones, and that one looks delicious. I know how you feel about your tea, but I’d have to have coffee with mine. 🙂 Hope you’re enjoying a nice long weekend.
We’d have to go elsewhere as TeaLula only serves tea. The scone was good and not overly sweet, which I like. Good weekend and it will show up on the blog. 😁
No, no, no; everyone knows that Saturday is Toasted Kaiser Day.
Had to look that up, but it sounds good, too. By the way, this wasn’t on a Saturday, though, so I guess I’m good.

Happy Labor Day weekend, Janet! 🙂 🙂
I hope yours is a good weekend as well.
My hubby adores scones. I always bring one home for him if he’s not with me at the core shop. YUM photo … Happy Labor Day weekend !!!!
Izzy 😎
Thanks and the same to you, Issy.
Definitely a great way to start the day….I’d just add some milk and sugar to the tea. 🙂 🙂
You’re more than welcome to add, Patti. ☕️
