Tina’s challenging us to go big this week and as we flew back from California and the BIG weekend wedding in Baja, California, I looked out the window of our Southwest plane to see this big, beautiful view of the Rockies.   It wasn’t as beautiful as the wedding, but it was pretty darn good!

    an amazing ‘big view’

  2. Hammad Rais says:

The wonderful views from high above are always a delight to watch. Very lovely capture 🙂

    • Too often when I’m flying there are clouds, so I don’t get a view at all. And since I sit in an aisle seat whenever possible, I can’t always get a shot even if there is a view. But our daughter was by the window, so I could reach over there. 🙂

  3. Tish Farrell says:

What a stunning earth we have, Janet. Beatiful big view.

  4. Tina Schell says:

OK, now THAT is big!! And quite beautiful. It looks mighty cold down there!!

Love looking out the window of airplanes! Definitely don’t get to do it enough. Great view.

    • As I said to Hammad just now, I’m usually in an aisle seat (by choice) so I don’t always get a view and often there are clouds, which are also beautiful, but different. So this one was fun.

  6. Dan Antion says:

There’s something special about the mountains, and seeing them from above.

  7. Amy says:

    An amazing view! Beautifully captured.

  8. That’s big, and more snow than I thought there’d be this early. It’s gorgeous.

BIG – and I am sorry I did not find it until now – but better late than never…Excellent take.
