You may be familiar with the song “Sur le pont d’Avignon“, “On the Bridge of Avignon.” These views are sur le point d’Fougerolles, in the Franche-Comté, where we were for the Cherry Festival. More about that in another post. For now, flowers.

Beautiful! I spent only a couple of hours in Avignon and missed this beauty. The Popes Castle and the old center were all we had time to see.
You didn’t miss anything, Angela. This is “On the Bridge in Fougerolles”, a very long distance from Provence and its attractions. This is closer to Germany and Switzerland, where my s-i-l & b-i-l live now, although they did live in Provence for some years. I used the song as a link to the bridge theme. 🙂 Sorry for the confusion.

No worries. 🙂
Lovely way to start this gray, cold fall day.
Looks like the same sort of day here, Judy. I’m happy I could bring some color to your morning! 🙂

Beautiful composition, Janet. These are lovely photos! The color combination is so pretty.
I’m glad you like them, Dan. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better so I decided not to decide. 🙂 Enjoy your Friday!
Somehow intense flowers there add to the movie picture set quality of the local areas.
Beautiful
Thanks. The flowers provided the color for these shots rather than being the sole star.
So much lush growth is beautiful. I can’t wait til Spring.

It’s going to be a long wait, Allan, at least in my four-season area. 🙂 But I enjoy the seasons, so that’s OK.
Beautiful~!
Thanks very much, JT, and have a wonderful weekend.
Waiking me up these bright colours, Janet!
Always glad to provide a wake-up photo, A-C. 🙂
Really lovely 🙂
Thanks very much, Joey.
