It’s been over at month since we celebrated the wedding of our older daughter in Baja California. Besides the wedding, there was a lot of beauty on offer as you’ll see in these photos for Patti’s Lens-Artists theme this week of “Splash!” There was some rather nice light, too.

We had about 6″ of heavy snow last night, that sort that looks beautiful but can be hard on plants. I spent about 2 1/2 hours in the park this morning and it was gorgeous! But the temperatures are right around freezing, so it’s getting a bit sloppy.

Sunrise. Yes, the place we were staying had some beautiful views. Perfect place for a wedding.
You captured the most amazing quality of light at just the right moment! Such sharp, crisp details, accentuated by a golden glow. It really does look like some exotic vision of paradise, not just the California coast.
Sometimes you just get the right moment. Makes it all worthwhile.

Daughter’s weddings are like that. I hope they find it as memorable as we did. My gal was married the year before I swear I’m still high from it. ❤️
Great shots Janet. It does look cold though.
There was a bit of wind at first, but I was dressed warmly and the exercise kept me quite comfortable. Yesterday it was bitterly cold, but I was in most of the day, so it didn’t matter. 🙂
