Unfortunately, we haven’t had much snow since November when I took a wonderful walk in the gorgeous snow. Here’s another photo from that walk. Think you’re seeing double? Don’t worry, you are. There’s a gate that’s pulled back in the mornings at sunrise, although you can easily get around it if you like. (Don’t ask me how I know that!) I love the way the snow fills in the openings in the fence, creating a sort of black and white abstract.

Looks very, very cold Janet.
On that day, it wasnβt too bad, Su, and it was beautiful besides. π
I have experienced so little snow in my life, it always seems magical.
Just discovered this in my spam folder, Su. π¦ I’m glad you enjoyed the shot. I’m always happy to bring someone magic.

Ah WP spam β I really must check my folder again! Too many legitimate comments end up there.
Love your capture of the double fence. What a great effect on the image. Wishing you a good 2019 Janet. Best from Ruth in Pittsburgh
Thanks, Ruth, and the same to you and yours.
Thanks Janet
Life takes on a whole new point of view depending upon how you look at it. Great shot. π
π. Very true, Judy. Glad you liked the shot.

Wonderful photo. You have the eye and mind of an artist.
Thanks so very much! You just made my day.

I like to imagine you sneaking through gaps in fences and gates to get to where the good things are π Interesting photo composition!
That’s about as “bad” or wild and crazy as I get, Madison. π. One time when the river flooded and they had the gate closed, I went around and wwalked through the park just to see what it was like until I got to a place where there was water across the trail.

Clever … Clever … Clever photograph.
I like the way you captured the snow through the fence.

The snow was actually in the fence as well, in the diamond shapes. It was very cool!

WOW … that’s cold π₯Ά Brrrrr
It was a pretty nice day.
This could be the view thru a window, nose pressed tightly against the screen.

True. This was an outdoor window. π
Beautiful image.
Thanks!! It was a beautiful day.

Very interesting and lovely image, Janet. Happy weekend. π
Thanks, Sylvia. I’m happy you liked it. Enjoy your weekend as well. π
That made for an interesting photo. No snow here, either. It will come, Iβm sure.
I’m ready for some snow. When it’s winter, let it be winter. We don’t have to have whiteout blizzards, but snow would be nice.
I agree!
The gate being folded back does make for an interesting texture. We haven’t had much snow at all π¦
Other than that one in November, we’ve had very little, too. We have had rain, but I would much prefer snow in winter.

Me too.
