  1. Su Leslie says:

    Potatoes sprouting?

  2. pommepal says:

I’ll hedge my bets, some sort of plant???

  3. Joanne Sisco says:

It’s creepy as hell, but I would have said potato root too.

    • And you’d be right. My husband said it looked like some sort of alien creature and I have to agree.

      • Joanne Sisco says:

Growing up, we had a basement to our old house that was more like a cold cellar. It was late fall and my mother had a bag of wheat in the basement that somehow was spilled and the wheat kernels started to sprout on the damp floor. Talk about creepy! My sister and I (we were the youngest of the brood) refused to go into the basement 🙂
Thanks for nudging that memory out of the archives. It made me smile 🙂

  4. Dan Antion says:

My first reaction was to be hungry for crab legs , but I’m going with some plant based thing as well.

  5. says:

    Old potato with new life?

  6. Plant of some kind. But I did think of crab legs for a second.

  7. joey says:

Potato from the back of the drawer?

  8. de Wets Wild says:

Was it once a cute little furry creature that got given water after midnight when an old man distinctly told you not to give it water after midnight no matter how much it begged?

  9. JANE says:

Ha Ha… in too late to share my guess of potato sprouts… and be believable. Fun to see the thoughts and humor on this one.

  10. First glimpse of first image, I join others in guessing, “Crab leg…” then to the middle of that same image it looked almost like an animal’s foot, but I knew it wasn’t… I next thought, ‘Cactus…’ but never would have guessed potato sprout!
    You did well!!!!!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
