After two days of frozen beauty, I woke yesterday to almost 40 and all the ice gone. I imagine our neighbor’s tree is quite relieved, although much less sparkly.

It is pretty, but so dangerous. Wonderful photo!
It certainly can be dangerous, Dan. Makes me think of some people: apparently attractive but dangerous.
I always enjoy how pretty it all is for a little while, but the ice definitely makes things difficult in every other way. Glad y’all thawed!
I was hoping it would still be that way Thursday morning so I could get some photos, but alas. Since I can’t do anything about it, I just focus on the joy it gives me to see the beauty. 🙂

Wonderful wintry photo, Janet. Ice has a way of accenting branch lines that I just love.
I know it’s hard on the trees, but since I can’t stop it, I might as well enjoy the beauty. 🙂 I’m glad you could, too. 🙂
Very pretty nevertheless, Janet. 🙂
It was gorgeous, Sylvia. 🙂
It’s lovely! Enjoy your warm spell. 😃
Thanks, Deborah. It was only a one-day spell. Back to cold today.
It’s beautiful, but inconceivable for me. The branches look like they would shatter just like glass.
I don’t want that ice to show up where you are!! 😁. Most of the branches wouldn’t shatter, but the ice would. It was quite beautiful.
Beautiful Janet; and such a contrast to my world right now.
I know. It’s one of those things we both find somewhat amusing. 🙂
So pretty, especially when we don’t have to drive in it. Haven’t had that, or a hoarfrost, here yet this season.
I was hoping to get out in it when I wasn’t working but alas, as I said, it had all gone when I woke. Ahh, well, I was able to enjoy the beauty for a few days and capture a few shots.
Well that’s somethin 🙂
