Thanks, Orna. I thought of you and Tom recently when Frances Mayes’ new book, “See you in the Piazza” came out. It’s about lesser-know-but-worth-a-stop places in Italy. I think she had something about where you live, but although I meant to check for sure, I took the book back before remembering to do so. 🙂 Hope all’s well there.
I’d be surprised if it can think at all, Hammad, having only spines and no brain. But if it could think, I imagine it would certainly think we’re the aliens. 🙂
Beautiful!

This is special
I’m glad you like it, Sherry. I hope your week’s gone well so far. 🙂
Very busy thanks trying to do more than I can manage.
And I’m wondering whether this creature is considering us as an alien or not 🙂

Ahhh, the day of the triffids is finally here. 🙂 Lovely photo.
🙂 Thanks, Lignum. You never know what you’ll find when you look deeply into the heart of a cacti.
Wow.
Wonderful.

Thanks very much, Randy, and happy Wednesday!
This does have an otherworldly feel to it. It’s a beautiful picture, Janet.
Thanks, Dan, and happy over-the-hump day. 🙂
Gorgeous image; alien or not. 😀
Glad you liked it, Su. I thought it was fun as well as pretty.
I love the colors. The background looks like snow and adds another element to the leaves and spines. Well done.

You never know what you’ll find when you get close up and almost personal with a cactus. 🙂
Yikes, spikes!!

I don’t think I’d stick a finger in it!
Very good idea! 🙂

Reminds me of Freddie Krueger coming through a wall…
Another fascinating photographic composition, Janet!
Ha, ha, ha! I would never have thought of that. I’m still laughing. Glad you liked it, though. 🙂
Oh definitely! You have a most artistic eye!
Thanks very much. 🙂
Lovely, engaging and mysterious.
Nice to hear from you, Sally. I’m going to be in Philly over Easter. Hoping for some good weather.
Pretty alien species — make small things big enough and get your mind blown!
Ha, very true. 🙂
(I’ve always thought magnification was a bit like cheating and spying on the Creator’s blueprints 😛 Haha)
But He does such a good job all the way through that I think it’s more seeing all the beauty and magnificence.
It is amazing, truly!
