Philadelphia is ahead of Chicago in the season, so I was thrilled to see all the plants in bloom. I loved these ragged-edged tulips.

That is awesome Janet! Love the colour
Thanks, Aletta. I also love the unique edges.
Yes, absolutely! So different
Wow, I’ve never seen anything like that. Very pretty and strange.
I love them. I wish you could have come on my walk this morning. I spent over two hours walking the back paths at the park, looking for wildflowers. There are quite a few out, but thousands, perhaps even millions, still waiting to bloom. I’m going to have to go back as often as possible. Won’t see anything like that when we move to Arizona so I have to enjoy them one last time. 😉
When are you moving?! I missed that post!
I haven’t posted it, but sometime next March or April. Come for a visit when we do. 🙂
Handsome. 🙂
And unusual, at least to me. I really like the ragged edges.
I’ve never seen tulips like that. They are beautiful and those are great photos. And, I found the ‘Janets’ – yay!
They are unique and beautiful. I’d love to have some in my garden. Glad you found all the “janets.” 🙂
🙂
Those are so unique and fun!
I thought so, too. 🙂 I’m happy you liked them.

Outrageously exotic and such dazzling beauty. We live in an area where they grow tulips by the acre. As far as the eye can see. The colours look like something out of the Judy Garland movie The Wizard of Oz. These are definitely Wizard tulips. Cheers Virginia
🙂 Sounds right to me, Virginia. Thanks for dropping by to admire these beauties. Have a wonder-filled weekend.

I never saw tulips like this. before. They’re so gorgeous. 🙂
I think I might have seen some like this once before, but there were a number of them along our walk, which was quite nice!

Glad I could feature your favorite, Joey, and these are my favorite of the tulips I’ve seen. They just have that special something.
Have a wonderful weekend!

You too, thanks!
Me, too. They are gorgeous!
These are the coolest tulips I’ve ever seen.
They are different, but beautiful!
