Happy Saturday from Naperville where we’re awash after several days of rain. I imagine I might have a difficult time getting into the park where I took this photo last year as the river is flooding, but hopefully we’ll have a few days off from the wet stuff before more rain moves in next week. Great photo and stay safe on your walks. Please don’t send us any rain, we’re literally afloat up here with many more days of it in the forecast. We may all be embracing hydroponic gardening this year whether we want to or not. 🙂

I too am hoping for a weekend that is finally dry and warm enough to get my bike outside. I can’t remember ever being this late in the spring before I had my first outdoor ride. I have my eye on tomorrow. So far, so good!!

Wishing you and me a dry weekend We have flooding to the north of us and to the east. We are on high ground so we are ok but i am wondering if this is ever going to end…..!
We’re having a dry weekend, thankfully, but might get rain next week. The river is well over its banks, but at least in Naperville, buildings all seem to be safe. Hopefully you’ll dry out soon!

Oh boy, I can only imagine weather like that! We’re finally out of the drought here, but I doubt we’ll see much rain for the next 6 months or so. Hopefully you can leave those showers back in April and move on to the May flowers now!

Raining over here as well – but we need it! Last summer took all our water and the ground water supplies are not OK yet. Hopefully it will get a bit more dry for you!
I know much of France needed rain as well. I’d be happy to contribute a bit of ours. 🙂 We’ve had a beautiful weekend, but apparently we may get bit more rain tomorrow. At least the earth will have had a chance to absorb what it’s already received before that happens. 🙂
