I see so many lost single shoes lately that I’m considering starting a blog feature of fictional stories to go with the images. 🙈
I always wonder how people can lose them in the street or just in general. It obviously can’t have just fallen off their foot, but were they just carrying an extra pair of shoes, did they have their foot stuck out the window and the shoe fell off and they didn’t go back for it? Weird.
Oh that is absolutely perfect for the challenge Janet! The question is, what made you shoot it in the first place? Very clever!!
It’s just one of those unusual sights that makes me want to take a photo of it. There’s a story somewhere there. Besides all my nature shots, I take lots of oddball shots. 😉
Lovely take on the them. Is the other flip fop missing or visa versa? 😜

It certainly could be seen that way. On the other hand, I always see one missing shoe, or flip-flop in this case, as something that has me wondering how on earth ever got lost in the first place!

I saw a flattened black high top running shoe on the road today. You go just have to wonder.
