Outside the rain is pouring down, putting drops on my mind, although those outside are anything but delicate. They’re more like a giant’s roars than fairy whispers. These I’ve found for you are much more delicate.
Raindrops are like fairy whispers.

I heard raindrops in the night
Pattering upon my eaves,
Like a pleasing lullaby
Easing me back to sleep,
Which I thought was odd a bit,
For I awoke because of it.

Love that dewy spider web, Janet
Thanks, Sue. That’s one of my favorites.
😊😊
Precious as Diamonds
And they often look very similar. 🙂

Wonderful and mysterious, Janet. 🙂 🙂 It must have stopped raining by now?
The thunderstorm and manic rain have passed, but it’s still raining a bit. Looks as though tomorrow will be another day of rain. 😦
😦
3 for 3, Janet. I love how the orange and black border in the second photo accentuates the golden glow in the image.

Thanks very much, Allan. I’m visually in southern California right now, watching the last stage of the Amgen Tour of California. 🙂 Not raining there!
They’re lucky, it’s pouring rain here.

We’re down to steady rain alternating with drizzle now, but rain in the forecast again for tomorrow and thunder still rolling out there somewhere.
Sounds like our forecast. We are expecting some thunder later tonight—an infrequent event on the West coast.

Great pics. i love the color in the first and the excitement in the second.
Randy
Thanks very much, Randy. I hope you’re having a great weekend, one drier than we’re having.

I’m in awe with these three images! Each says so much of nature beauty. Perfect for the theme. Thank you, Janet!
Praise from the praiseworthy is praise indeed. Thanks very much, Amy. 🙂
Am humbled… Thank you so much, Janet! 🙂
That color is unreal! I love the incredible clarity you managed to capture in the water drops, too. I feel like I could reach out and touch it.
That means I did my job well, Hannah. Thanks!

Beautiful, Janet. The spider web looks like strings of pearls.
That’s what I thought when I first saw it, Dan, that or diamonds.
These are all beautiful Janet — and perfectly delicate. But the spider web is my favourite; wonderful shot.
Thanks very much, Su. That spider web shot is one of my all-time favorites, taken with my iPad in the pre-smart phone days. 🙂
Wow! that last image is simply superb! I am waiting badly for the rain here in south India!
Many thanks, Raj. If I could share our overabundance of rain with you, I’d do so in a minute! We have rain in the forecast for more days during the upcoming week as well.

Please do send, I will download it here! 😀 Its 86 degrees here and humidity over 75% 🙂
Oh, Janet – these are all magnificent! Colours stunning and angles perfect. The spider web is just a dream…Thank you for leaving us these gems!
My pleasure, A-C. I’m happy you enjoyed them so much. I didn’t even have to enhance the color in that first shot. That’s the way it looked. 🙂
Astonishing – what species, do you know?
Foxglove. Beautiful to look at but poisonous.
Mmm, I did not recognize it from that angle and so close! My daughter’s favorite when she was a little girl!
They are beautiful.
Very
Stunning pictures ..
Thanks!

Janet, what beautiful photos! This spring has been so cold, rainy and strange. In fact, ever since last August it has been pretty cool here. I just want the sun!
The pepper Blair poem is wonderful and I can relate – and all three photos have such a nice mood – and the second one has me curious – hmm
The second one is a milkweed seed with water drops on it.
Thx
Lovely shots!
Thanks a lot, Joey. I hope your week’s going well.
Gorgeous and delicate, Janet. Lovely collection!
Thanks very much, Patti.
Wow. Great shots.
Thanks so much, John, both for visiting and commenting. I’m so happy you liked the photos.
