On a day in town, we visited a number of shops, ate a delicious lunch while discovering several new beers, and found time for photos of some downtown Sheridan doors. If you have to be off the mountain, this is a good place to be.

The last photo is interesting. Two doors in one entrance.
I thought that was interesting, too.

Great doors!
Thanks, Sue, and happy Thursday.
Happy Thursday to you, Janet!
Great doors! Love the wrought iron portico on the first one
That what caught my eye as well, Sheree.
The third red door is great!
That set seems to be the favorite so far, TC.

I like the detailing above the first door but it’s the last photo that captured my attention. I imagined a rivalry between the owners which resulted in the one of the right inserting a taller door as an act of intimidation ๐
I can honestly say that never occurred to me, Joanne. Quite the flight of imagination this morning to liven an already hot day. ๐
I’m coffee-primed and ready to tackle the day ๐
โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ. Hope itโs a good one!
You too ๐
Always enjoy your door photos, Janet! The last one is different and interesting. ๐
Iโm glad you enjoy them, Amy. I enjoy finding and sharing them. ๐
These are wonderful, Janet. I like the eclectic look of the mismatched doors at 200/206
Those are clear favorites this week, not what Iโd expected.
That happens to me a lot. The post or picture I think is meh, gains a big fan base. What do we know?
Lovely doors. The last two look so narrow I can’t imagine having to move furniture in and out and what if you gain a pound or 10!
I think maybe the brickwork in front makes the entire thing look much more narrow than it really is. I thought they were normal sized doors.
I’m with Sheree, the ornament above the first door is quite interesting.

That’s what got my attention, too, Allan.
Another nod for those mismatched doors in the last shot. Nice finds Janet ๐
Thanks, Norm, and thanks for hosting.
Looks like an Old West kind of place – if you happen to be off the mountain LOL.
It is a old west sort of place in all the best ways. ๐
Nice! The last shot is fascinating. Not just because the door are different sizes, but I’m wondering what happened to 202 and 204?
I have no idea. ๐
Ooo! That first one! And Hotel Rex? Mmm…no, thanks; the Bates Motel is just down the road.
๐
I really like the outer bits of the photo. Nice selection!
Thanks. ๐ Have a great weekend.

Good doors, but I like the first one best with its crown of wrought iron and you got a little selfie in there too!
I love that wrought iron, too, Deborah. ๐ Every so often a selfie creeps in.
