Thursday I’m heading to Philadelphia (by van, not by boat), to take a load of things to our younger daughter. I’m rather good at packing, but even I can’t figure out a way to get a small couch into my second bag with Southwest, hence the van and the drive. 🙂 Between today and Thursday, I work and have lots to do around the house, so I won’t have time to blog. But I wanted to leave you with a little something, as Winnie-the-Pooh might say, to make you happy while I’m gone and this is it, the view from the lake just a short distance from the cabin. Enjoy and see you next week!

Have a good trip. That’s a beautiful view.
I will and thanks.
Have a great trip!
Thanks, Sue.
Happy couch delivering. Hope it’s an enjoyable trip, and thanks for the happy-place shot. It is so lovely.
I always have a good time. Glad you enjoyed the photo. I don’t think there’s anywhere there that isn’t worth a photo.
Safe travels! Beautiful picture.
Thanks and thanks. 😁

That darn Southwest frowns on sofas!
😉. If I could just get it in one of my suitcases, they wouldn’t care at all. 🤪
Oh, yeah…and under 55 pounds. 🥰
what a lovely view and safe travels, couch and all )
Thanks.
Safe journey. Lovely image, Janet.
Thanks for both, Sylvia. 🙂
Thanks for the image of relaxing cool. Travel safe, Janet.
You’re very welcome, Dan. I actually look forward to the trip and enjoy it once everything is loaded and I’m on my way. 🙂 I have some books on CD, I’ll have food and tea, and you know I enjoy traveling. Also, more doors in Philly. 🙂
Safe travels! I love the photograph. Wonderful lines, every which way!
Thanks, Marian. I’ll do my best to travel safely. As for the photo, I like the combination of mountains and lake, sunlight and sky.

From the serenity of nature to an urban center, such contrast.
One of the things I love about it, Sally.
I absolutely agree. I immerse myself in both for their offerings.
It’s do pretty and serene!
Lol!! That’s a good one about the couch in your luggage or not. 😂
Drive carefully! See you next week.
🙂 I always drive as carefully as possible, but worry about other drivers and try to watch out for them (and not say any bad things.)
🙂 I hear ya!
Road trips are fun, if I don’t have my husband with me. He’s not a good distance traveler if we are driving. Have safe travels!
Thanks. I like road trips with or without my husband, but with this one, he has to work and I have the van full of stuff. 🙂
Safe travels and a great visit. 🙂
Thanks, Judy, I’m looking forward to it.
I love the light in the reeds and their position against the dark triangle of water. Beautiful.
Have a safe trip.

Thanks very much, Allan.
Beautiful photo Janet. I hope you are enjoying your summer! Our weather is finally perfect.
We were without AC for about two weeks, so it was a bit grim, but it was replaced on the hottest day of the year, which was a blessing. 🙂
Travel safe, Janet!
Many thanks. 🙂
Have a great trip! Enjoy your time away from the blog and come back refreshed, with plenty of new inspiration to share, no doubt. 🙂
Thanks, Hannah, I will. 🙂
It’s gorgeous!
Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed the view.
